Vairengte Police Checkgate

This is a police check post located at the beginning of Mizoram state border, from here one can get his Inner Line Permit (ILP).

People from non-tribal have to bring ILP and should be produced to the check gate. This will not take much time.

But, some passengers/people failed to obtained ILP from issuing authority before they come, so they have to wait long. This will create problem to other co-passengers.

I am from north India, why should I pay here to enter in mijoram. In my state all north east people are studying in colleges n doing jobs , this attitude won't help in long run. We r not outsiders , Bangladeshis r outsiders , punish them.

Do not forget to make your ilp before entering mizoram. You can also make your ilp at the gate but the queue usually is very long.

Check gate for Mizoram and Assam ...if any one enter from Assam to Mizoram need to stop here and take a permits
