Fort Theppakulam

This place was rediscovered all of a whole. Once upon a time this place used to be having a theppa kulam as the name of th Street itself is Theppa kula vidhi. Now it's been rediscovered again. This place used to be with dump and trees and nowhere you could identify its original identity. But after so many years this place was rediscovered and constructed with a beautiful Theppa kulam. Every Perumal Kovil is fulfilled with a theppa kulam and now after so many years, the kottai perumal will be happy to see this once again as it has become a fullfilled temple. Kudos to those people who took this initiative. May Lord Perumal and Shiva bless you all. Must visit place for Erodians.

This theppakkulam was reconstructed recently and this place remained a dumping place for the wastes.One construction company named Thulasi Builders undertook this great task of reconstructing the theppakkulam.This area is owned by the TN Government's HR&CE department controlling Hindu temples all over tamilnadu.The annual Theppotsavam of Sri Kasthuri Aranganadhar(during annual brahmotsavam)takes place in this theppakkulam.The main drawback is in vehicle parking.Well maintained.
