The best camp to visit if you want to enjoy nature !! .Rooms are excellent and named after popular birds. The food was very nice and there was a special dessert for every meal. They were awesome with a river flowing in front of the cottage. There was been a shelf of books where you could borrow them and return them before you check-out. You could go bird watching in the morning and see different kinds of birds. The staff was informative and friendly. Great experience!! Would like to visit again.

The place is closer to nature. The atmosphere is peaceful and pollution free. The houses that are made of mud are quite convenient and cozy. The resort staffs are polite and courteous. Very thankful and we would visit again and N number of times.

The food is good, room, staffs all make me felt like home, I have a great stay of 5 nights, this place is very comfortable for solo female traveler who like to stay closed to nature. Only the hot waster not so hot. The rest is all about good memory for me.

This jungle camp is excellent! I stayed here for 2 days in the mud house named sparrow! The houses are named after local and popular birds! The "chaupal" or common sitting/dining area made with all jungle sourced items is a well conceived design. Two mud houses have verandah overlooking the "Khichdi" river flowing with serene sound! The food is Excellent. Staff are well behaved! Would like to stay again!

Very beautiful place to visit. One of the best places if you want to enjoy the lap of mother nature. The rooms were also big and awesome with river flowing in front of it. The whole camp premises are great to walk and enjoy with exotic plants and trees. Food was amazing. The staff was very supportive and informative.

This is the experience you don't want to miss out on. Very unique and earthy peaceful feeling.
Have their Chai and pakora on the patio in tye evening. Lush greenery, a little pond,
Clay house architecture, with central meeting space. They provide you with great hospitality, and help.

They definitely need to update their photos on the website because they don't do justice for what that place is like. They offer you great food, fun activities in the forest (hiking, biking, birdwatching etc, they should mention this in the description too)

We had a safari booking at 6am, and the staff made sure we had Chai at 5am when we are supposed to leave.

I would suggest atleast 3 night stay there, felt a little cut short for me.
Most importantly, they support ECO TOURISM. They hire local workers, buy as locally grown food as possible and supports local economy.

Awesome experience! Loved the whole nature theme. Its as if you're staying in the forest. Nature has been integrated into the resort so we'll.
Special shout out to Mulkeet who organized everything for us so we'll. He was always on time, and super knowledgeable about birds and other animals. Loved the nature walk with him as he was such a good guide.
Additional special shoutout to the cooking team (unfortunately I don't remember their names) but the food was really good. Paneer makhanwalla was my favourite. They were also very accomodating of my gluten intolerance and made special rotis for me. I'm not sure what it's called but the cheelas with cheese, capsicums, other veggies for breakfast were really good

One word for this place - Awesome.

It's quiet, well maintained, the staff is very warm and they take care of your minute necessities.

The food is home like, nothing fancy but it's reasonable, fresh and in abundance.

The camp is just opposite to the river.

You can relax, stroll besides the river, take guided tour, go cycling.

To, sum it up, it's the best value for money proposition I have come across.
A MUST VISIT.

Added Bonus - If you are traveling with pets, they are more than willing to welcome you and you pets and take care of your pet requirements too.

A full 5 stars for this place and the people running this place, they have definitely given a lot of thought about the forest environment.
The houses are made out of mud and are very clean. All the basic amenities like A/C , hot water, kettle are provided.
The staff here are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

A delightful small resort set right in the middle of the buffer zone. Wonderfully designed and crafted mud huts with all the amenities you’d think you’d want offered as unobtrusively as you’d need them to be in a place such as this. A great gurgling mountain stream runs alongside this resort and three cottages overlook this river and are the ones you should try your best to get into. The river can be waded in and the round sun bleached and water smoothed stones and pebbles are great to sit on and think of all those private thoughts you need just this sort of serenity for. Do partake of the forest trails walk while here, a hint of danger adds to the beauty of it all. Full 5 stars from me to this pristine heaven set in a wonderful forest

Amazing resort with heart warming and humble staff. A must-go place for pet lovers, to take along their furry friends. Food is good and hygienic, but limited options. Sticking to the basics of life and close to nature make this resort unique. Location is perfect, adjacent to a stream. Great place for a quiet stay, with limited mobile or TV disturbances. Try nature walk, seasonal bird watching, cycling or canal floating, apart from the usual Corbett Jungle Safari.

Great experience. One of the best places in Corbett to enjoy sustainable and responsible tourism. This place will give you all together a new prospective on how to travel in an offbeat way. Great hosts. Do go for forest walks. Thanks a lot Naveen and Shekhar. All the best. . .

The place is more beautiful and relaxing than it seems in the photographs. The fragrance of the mud rooms can not be explained. Guests only from good families chose this resort and it creates a wonderful environment for each family staying here. The river is just in front of the rooms and looks like a part of this resort. And if you are from metropolitan city like Delhi, you will be shocked to see the sky at night. Full of bright stars and it seems like you are seeing the entire galaxy.

Serene beautiful and warm hosts!

That's how I would like to put this amazing place. This is like living amidst nature and a great change of you are looking to cut away from your busy city life.

Go out for nature walks, birding walks, safari rides, enjoy the sunsets and then cool off with the bonfire and local dinner cuisines.

These are a series of eco-lodges which are a great initiative with mud houses and tents in a seemingly forest like environment with the sound of the nearby stream and birds all over the place.

Do note this place is pet friendly as well. We had taken our pet dog Ludo as well and a he had an amazing time thanks to the hosts.

Heartfelt thanks to the team at Camp Hornbill, Kyari. We had a lovely stay last week at Camp Hornbill, Kyari village with our FurKid who was so loved there. The place is genuinely pet friendly, clean, green and focusses on sustainable use of resources.

The staff is warm, kind and commited, we want to specially mention Mika ji, Gopal ji and Chatur. The food was very tasty on each day.

We quite enjoyed floating in the water canal. Bird watching with Mr. Rajendra was also interesting. Nature walk was fun, and we were quite fortunate to have seen the male and female leapards on our way back...a rare site. The interesting stories of the Camel Hoof, Sal trees, the impact of exotic teak variety here, the symbiotic relationship between members of the community and what not....

The Khichri river bed next or the campsite is an added attraction. Loved to just sit there and appreciate the scenic beauty.

Mr. Naveen was welcoming and it was sheer delight to see the simplicity and passion with which he has been running the place with the help of the core team. Everyone was alert and prompt at all times.

My son had been here earlier and was amazed with the how the place has grown over these years.

We would love to come again to your humble camp stay, perhaps also in a bigger number.

Once again, thank you to team Hornbill and wishing you the best in your endeavour to provide Rich experience to your guests.
