Tagore Hill

Tagore hill is one of the tourist places to visit in the vicinity of the city. You will get the views of the city from the top of the hills. If you are local or you don't have any place to visit then you may visit this hill. If you are coming from tier 1 cities don't go with much expectations. This gets close at the time of sunset.

The place is ill maintained. It has its own cultural rich heritage, which is directly associated with the Tagore family, mainly Jyotirindra nath and Rabindranath tagore. It's quite disappointing to see the dilapidated condition of the structure.

This is the best place for whole city view amazing place with good transportation and accommodation..

If you are in Ranchi junction and want to visit this then either you can reserve an auto and go there @₹200-250 or you can go via break journey at low cost @₹50-60/person.
For this from Ranchi junction you have to take auto for Jail More(₹30-40) then from there Karamtoli(₹10) then karamtoli to Tagore hill(₹10).
Good place to hang out and there is chill environment there at the top and a lot of greenery and a perfect place to stay for a while, there is no such any entry fees or something and parking area is there which is chargeable and also there is a canteen inside the area for some snacks.

Needs a lot of maintenance and cleanliness.
But the place is very beautiful and charming. Doesn't accept days at a time, contemplates coming again

Tagore hill is just situated 3 km away from the heart to the city. Its the best place to get a 360 degree view of the Ranchi city.

There is no entry fee. Parking fee of ₹20 for 4 Wheelers and ₹10 for 2 wheelers. Time 9 AM to 5 PM.

The view of sunrise and sunset from the hill top is one of the most beautiful things to see.

You have to climb around 250 stairs to reach the top .

A nice place to visit,one can get 360° view of Ranchi from the top.But this place really needs attention of the Govt. Everywhere there is lack of maintenance

Tagore hill is situated in between the heart to the city. Its the best place to get a 360 degree view of the Ranchi city. Come in the evening and enjoy sunset from here. There is no entry fee bit there is a parking fee of rs 20 for 4 wheelers and rs 10 for 2 wheelers. There is no bathroom facility, which is a huge drawback of this place. Need to climb up a descent number of steps to reach to the top.
