Spent the evening at Kakching with @somendronaorem my erstwhile roommate from College, when we were both freshmen at St Stephen's, Allnutt South! Their traditional house, is so warm, welcoming and cozy! Met up with Bimola, ze wife ☺ his parents and extended family. The dinner 🍽 was very different and absolutely mind-blowing 😎 replete with bamboo shoots, fermented fish et al 😋 I think I'll have to be visiting again, soon. Thanks @somendronaorem MyBrotherFromAnotherMother ❤☺❤☺ The evening market at Kakching Lamkhai is so astonishing and vibrant! You can buy a variety of farm fresh veg and non veg food stuff and a lot of other stuff at very competitive prices. MUST GO ...

The bazar sits at the junction of Asian highway and Kakching road
The roadside shops have good collection of cane items, cutting & digging tools etc.
A good place to keep an eye for new arrivals of cane items.
The junction also boasts of a Vishal Mega Mart, a petrol pump and hosts of eating joints.
