Langol Tourist Watch Tower

The view is unparalleled. The people are extremely helpful. We had old people with us so they allowed us to take our car right to the watch tower. I'd advice going around sunset to get a wonderful scenic view.

Little risky but monsoon season is the best time to visit. And if you are lucky right before a rain you can experience the heavenly feeling of being with the clouds physically.

Where nature meets civilization. Ticket rate is 20 INR. Separate parking charges for vehicles. 10INR for 2 wheeler vehicle. A good place to take your cardio to the next level. Take a great leap into the amazing and splendid view of nature. If the weather is fine you will get to some of the astounding views of the hill and the valley if manipur. Good place for those adventure seeking souls. A nice place to bring family and friends. The drive up this place is really breath taking. You will get to see some amazing sights and natural creations. A must visit place for every tourist if the want an bird eye view of the hill and the valley of Manipur.

About 60 kms drive from the heart of Imphal city along the Indo-Myanmar road, surrounded by beautiful landscape, hillocks and breathe taking sceneries, Tlanglhungbung Leikol or Langol Peak garden lies in the Langol Village of Machi Sub-Division in Chandel District .

It is said that in legendary myth Khamba-Thoibi of Manipur, Thoibi came to pick the very special flowers known as Thoibi-Lei from this peak. It is also a historical site for the World War 2 where allied force put up their camps. Langol Peak or Tlanglhungbung is now becoming one of the favourite tourist centres in Manipur.

Best when u went with frnds or family..the way up is a bit difficult and curves are frightening,but once u reached the tower it's worth the troubles.A well maintained place , the caretakers were also nice and helpful .... overall it's a must go place in manipur

A nice tourist spot at a very high altitude from where we can see a bird's eye view of almost the eastern and southern part of Manipur but to steep to climb up to the top. It will require a lot of energy, a good shoe and personal fitness.

One very important thing, since it's a peak wear a comfy shoes and you're good to go. It's a long journey to the top but the view is so worth it. One of the best place of Manipur I've been to. Doll up a little bit or else I guarantee you the view will look much better than your face 😜.
