Rafi Ahmed Kidwai National Postal Academy (RAKNPA) was previously known as PSCI. Postal Staff
College India (PSCI) was set up in the year 1977, as the apex training institution of India
Post. Initially the College functioned from Sanchar Bhavan and later from Dak Bhavan in Delhi. It
was shifted to its present location in Ghaziabad in the year 1990. Postal Staff College India was
upgraded as Rafi Ahmed Kidwai National Postal Academy on 1st November 2011. The academy is
approximately 25 KM away from New Delhi. Situated in the National Capital Region, Ghaziabad is
well connected with all parts of the country. It takes about an hour by road to reach the Academy
from New Delhi. The academy is located in a 20 acre Campus and has all required infrastructure facilities to conduct various training activities round the year. The green open space and a variety
of flora in the Campus attract a lot of bird life.

RAKNPA was previously known as Postal Staff College India (PSCI). It was set up as the apex training institute for India Post service officers. Initially the College functioned from Sanchar Bhavan and later from Dak Bhavan in Delhi. In 1990's It was shifted to Ghaziabad.
