Belha Devi

Maa Belha Devi temple is situated on the bank of river Sai .
It had said that Mata Sati's lower back area (बेला) fallen here.
That is why the place is considered very auspicious.
And also when Bhagwan Sri Rama was roaming in the jungle for vanvas of 14 years than he satys here for a night.

Belha Devi Temple is a Shaktipeeth temple situated in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh state of India. The name of the city Bela (now called बेल्हा Pratapgarh) is derived from Maa Belha Devi. This temple is dedicated to city's patron Goddess Belha Bhavani. Mata Belha Devi Temple at Pratapgarh is a symbol of Hindu culture and faith. Belha Devi is quite good place you feel some positive energy when you entered in belha Devi Mandir campus.
But avoid to go between 1: 00 pm to 4:00 pm nothing is there and floor of temple also burning

In Ram charit Manas it is mentioned that Lord Ram crossed this Sai river while going to Maharishi Bhardwaj Ashram in prayag .. in Belha devi temple 🛕 there is a Shivlingam made by lord Rama and the name Belha devi is originated by the flower 'Bela' that was later grown near about the places where lord Rama made tha shivlingam.

Right around the corner of a river, gives a good feeling of ghat. This temple has been maintained really well and is a beauty in its own. I went to Bhupiyamau to attend a wedding and this was only 13kms away from the temple. Roads were good so browsed this temple as well. Would definitely recommend a 45 minutes stop on ur way if u headed to lucknow or in prtapgarh.
