Such a nice place. The station is surrounded by a green area like a Mountain or lots of vegetation. But facilities are limited.

Beautiful place, humble people and important town for sonbhadra for tourism,traveling,business and other facilities. Chopan is central point of sonbhadra district. Also developing and growing, but the city need more growth and development in sector of medical, hospitality,employment and tourism etc. Overall is a good place for atleast one time adventure.

For me its best place , since I have good memories about this place, since childhood i use to go delhi to chopan , for going obra & further going jharkhand ( garwa road). I can't never forget obra of that time, govt. quarters of powerhouse employees, that market , those 3 chimney of powerhouse , which smoke 24 hour. Under developed but much better then current delhi, environment was so good ; nowadays there was also big development projects going , but it should not over developed. Otherwise it will lose its environment & beauty & become polluted like cities.
