Mathasaur

It's a good hike from Bhalyani village. The forest trail comes after crossing 2 villages and then you reach a beautiful meadow. You get a 360 degree view from the top. A small beautiful temple of fungni mata is there at the top.

Beautiful place to visit. You can start the tracking from Badai 5 km from kullu. After one hour of track you will reach the village Bhumteer. You can also go by road till Bhumteer. Road is good till Bhumteer. From there Mathasour is arround 3 km on foot track. This is Holly place for the villagers as there is temple of their local diety Devi Fungni. Very peaceful place. One must visit.

Very nice place for tracking, camping but be careful restricted items like tobacco & any drugs are not allowed here cause this is a religious place. So be careful & enjoy the nature beauty.
