Dined here thrice during our stay at Evolve Back and absolutely loved it! It is located pretty on a cliff by the property’s private lake and hence offers a serene lakeside dining experience thanks to the view. At night, the place transforms into a candle lit abode and while the pictures do not do it justice, it is nothing but heavenly, to say the least. The staff were also kind enough to provide us with a table on the lakeside deck which made the experience all the more surreal. Do note however that being the speciality restaurant of the resort, reservations especially for dinner fill up surprisingly fast and it’s hence recommended to book a slot very well in advance.
Coming to the food, the restaurant offers a fairly eclectic menu that spans different cuisines and rotates each day. During our stay we tasted most dishes on their menu thanks to its limited size, and needless to say, the food did not disappoint. Everything we had was quite on point so nothing to complain about there.
Finally, the service is absolutely impeccable too and is what completes your experience at this sublime destination. While I’m not sure if they allow non-resident guests to dine here, Evolve Back as a destination in itself (rather than just a resort) is something one must experience at least once, and once you’re here, you can’t not be dining at Peppercorn (especially their candle lit dinners).

The food was amazing. I can say it is the best food i have ever had in recent times. Unfortunately i couldn't take more pictures of the food because I was busy enjoying it. It was a 6 course meal - soup, salad, starter, sizzler, main course (roti, rice, sabzi) and dessert. I loved the huli huli sizzler, dal makhani, panner sabzi, roti, biryani and veg soup, it is a must try. My only feedback would be serve smaller portions, so that one can try all the options and later order again if required. If you have space just to have/taste just 1 dessert then I would recommend the kodagu special. I would recommend people staying in evolve back resort to make use of this complementary meal. For others visiting madikeri/Coorg, if possible try to have lunch or dinner here.

The service provided was exceptional! Our group of 11 had a reserved table with a wide array of food choices. We sought Mr. Askaran's advice for a six-course meal that accommodated our dietary needs. He suggested the in-house wines, coffee, and passion fruit, followed by various soups, grilled meats, sizzlers, house-specialty biriyanis, and a selection of desserts. Each dish was cooked perfectly, and our every request was promptly addressed, even surprising us with a birthday cake adorned with birthday decorations at the end of lunch. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic dining experience!

The Chef here is a magician and the team that waits tables do their job with utmost passion. Before you start reading this review further, please understand if lunch is not in the package, it is an opportunity for you to prepare for dinner. 6 Course dinner with every option tickles your taste buds. Ijaz Ansari who handled our table was very energetic and patient. He suggested us the best options. Lamb Sizzler must try for non vegetarians. Overall the best I’ve had for a while. The food available in peppercorn was the best out of all the three restaurants in Evolve Back, Coorg. In Peppercorn, you have a fixed 6 course meal menu with vegetarian, non-vegetarian and vegan options. The food quality here is amazing too. A prior reservation is required in order to come here. Peppercorn only offers Lunch and Dinner options. I would highly recommend dinner here because they have a candle-lit dinner set up.

It's an amazing 6 course dinner serving restaurant at evolve bk Coorg, one must prioritise their choice of dinner here, candle light dinner serving in an exciting ambience, Izaz who served us the dinner was an amazing guy, explained us each course of dinner in detail, he introduced chef to us, chef took special care and poured in love while preparing the food, that further added the lusty taste, evolve bk Coorg and especially pepper corn deserves a special appreciation... As it matters most to me.. little lengthy of write up but worthy of it...
