Mushroom Rock

It is a great place with a natural beauty situated beside the university of hyderabad campus. It is little difficult to reach there. You may need some local one to reach this place. There are two ways to reach there. One is using university gate and the other using a road called hill ridge spring beside Ella hotel. The sunset is very beautiful from this place. The bigger rock is balanced on two smaller rocks one on each side. It looks exactly like a mushroom. There is a ladder placed there and you can climb the rock by this thing. You will have a great experience if you spend some time sitting below the bigger rock. You will also experience a beautiful breeze there and may see some peacocks. Atleast you must hear some of them. It is situated in between bushes so you may have to spend some time to find the small way to reach there.

It was yesterday I realized HCU is prettier than i imagined, and every other day is a treat, and here today at mushroom rock i couldn't stop agreeing with that in each of my steps.

You will be definitely suprised by the rock structure (mushroom shape). You can feel beautiful sunrise and sunset here. Also you can see many birds including peacocks. It's one of best spots for photoshoots.

Beautiful place for nature lovers... U can't go all the way to the rock on vehicle but u can get close... Have to walk for about 300-500 meters to get to the rock... All in all.. at was a pleasant surprise...!!

It is a nice place to hangout for the university of hyderabad students. The shape of the rock is that of mushroom. Weekend escapists a climbing group have conducted rapelling and climbing events here.

One of the treasured places in University of Hyderabad. It requires you to walk a bit and then climb a ladder to reach. It is basically one huge rock balanced by 2 small rocks, has an amazing view from the top. It is a great place to just go sit and enjoy the sunrise or sunset.

One of the must see spots in the University of Hyderabad campus. Offers a breath taking view of the surrounding nature. Good place to visit in groups. There's no proper access to paved road. I'd suggest wearing proper shoes to prevent slipping and sliding.

It was really nice... There is no proper way, but exploring it is sort of fun. Best place to relax and the clouds of Hyderabad add more beauty to it.
