Chopra Gate- Raisen Fort

The Raisen fort was constructed with multiple gates to enter the fort with each of the doors opening on a different side and direction of the fort. Yet the Chopra gate is one of the biggest doors on the fort and also one of the most prominent ones to directly enter the main area of the fort.

Raisen with a strong fort was an important centre of administration from the period of its foundation from Hindu times. In the fifteenth this fort was ruled by the Sultans of Mandu, from whom it passed to the Rajputs . Good Place for Visiting

रायसेन किले में प्रवेश करने के लिए कई द्वार बनाए गए थे जिसमे से चोपड़ा गेट सबसे प्रमुख माना जाता है, चोपड़ा गेट काफी विशाल और मजबूत गेट है जो की काफी चौड़ा है इसमें से पूरी फौज अपने लाव लश्कर के साथ गुजर सकती थी।

इस गेट हो सुरक्षा की दृष्टिकोण से बहुत मजबूती से बनाया गया था जिसमें सैनिको की पूरी एक टुकड़ी ठहर सकती थी, महल के तरफ जाने वाला रास्ता सीढ़ियों वाला है तथा हाथी घोड़ों के लिए ढलान वाला रास्ता बनाया गया है।

ये गेट दो मंज़िला है जो काफी आकर्षक और भव्य है जोकि हिन्दू स्थापत्य कला का एक बेजोड़ नमूना है। यहाँ से सूर्योदय देखना एक बहुत रोमांचक अनुभव होता है ।
