Ratu Fort

Amazing place to recap the history. When I enter in this fort I lost in history, everything as it. But not completely open, only front part. I don't know why government not open for tourists. It open only in Durga Puja, only front part.

We loved this (fort) whenever we come in Ranchi always visit this place. Hope you enjoyed here if you visit on this fort. But this fort is open only some days in a year. Thank you 🙏.

Ratu’s royal palace, 15km from Ranchi on Ranchi-Daltonganj Road, is again reverberating with drums, conch shells and sacred chants on Durga Puja. Though the throne is empty, the goddess is visiting royalty like every year.
The palace has its share of well-maintained temples. But, as always, the traditional Durga Puja is a big draw. Now, the late Maharaja’s four married daughters Madhuri Manjari, Kalpana Kumari, Gayatri and Tripti, and his only daughter-in-law Priyadarshini, are bravely carrying on the family’s glorious legacy.

Ratu Palace is a famous historical tourist site in Ranchi. It is the home of the last Nagvanshi clan that resided in the city. Ratu Palace is the residence-cum-heritage site that was the home of Nagvanshi clan for the last 1,950 years. Its construction resembles the majestic Buckingham Palace. Though the last Maharajah of the Nagvanshi Clan passed away back in 2014, the legacy is still protected in the palace.

Ratu Fort is private property . Open for public Navratra time 'satmi,asthmi and navmi only. that time we can visit.

It is one of the great monuments of Jharkhand.It is private property of King of Chhotanagpur ,but you can easily see the architecture from outside of Fort. must visit site nearer to Ranchi surrounding.
