It seems to be a secret land in between the hustle and bustle of the the city. Located near the city, a very short drive can bring you here. It's Not actually a view point but its a place which can let you meet with your inner peace. A picnic destination for a small group.

The place is great, an epic spot to go with family and friends. Nature at it's best.

Horab is one of the closest forest to Ranchi City and a perfect breathing space. The forest has plenty of trails to trek on and is one of the favourite circuit for city cyclists to ride on during the weekend. The complete circuit of Horap Forest from city center is of 50 kms approximately.

The forest also has plenty of birds worth watching which are either local to Jharkhand or are migratory birds.

There is a beautiful nature, a small river and a small waterfall that is the centre of attraction.

Very good experience with the forest only the thing is that no caretaker was there for cleaning and maintenance i think it is a very popular spot for picnic so there should be someone who will take care of these stuff because people go there and the garbage they spread are needed to be clean but all the good experience was there very good picnic spot
