Shopian district has a 3.5 lakh population and the DH is the lone health centre where there is a 24-hour operation theatre (OT) facility, which too was started during the Covid19 pandemic this year....
Shopian District Hospital (DH) has a single surgery table, which not only creates problems for patients who are forced to wait for their turn for days, it also frustrates the doctors who are unable to do their duty because of lack of a basic necessity.

Overall good service.... But should have increased and better staff management as for the population of the area fall under this hospital

Hospital is situated in residential and conjunction area. Difficult for the patients to reach hospital especially in winters when snow covered entire area in its blanket.

one day I was going to get vaccine but I felt a little bit cold so they asked to check body temperature but there was no temperature monitoring device or thermometer. Then ended up buying our own.

Infrastructure is good.
But the main problem is Doctors and facilities.
Many times we have seen that any kind of emergency happens patient is being referred to Srinagar which becomes hectic.
As government is spending a lot but it should also provide every kind of facilities particularly those which will help in Emergency Cases.
Likewise during night time doctors and other staff are not sufficient to deal with the patient in a good way.

District Hospital Of Shopian needs a lot of work regarding it's functioning. Testing facilities, well qualified doctors and medical staff should be available 24\7.

Lot of space for car parking

The parking facility needs to be enhanced considerably
