Mahamuni Buddha Monastery - South Tripura District, Tripura, India

Hi guys,
This is the most beautiful & peaceful place and it's my born place. Everyone should visit at this place atleast one time. And this is the one historical place.

This place feels like heaven the cold wind , sal trees , the beautiful surrounding and specially the temple is just more than satisfaction.

From Agartala it's nearly 120km. From NH , there are roads from Manubazar that leads to Mahamuni. Not ideal for 4 wheelers. Afternoon ride would be wonderful but try to return by evening. Road is not so good but has scenic beauty along the way. Very calm place to spend half an hour. There are 2 separate buddha statue placed in different rooms.

Its Very Beautiful Place and Silent. Very Naturistic Weather over there with beautiful roadside views. On the way to Mahamuni Buddha Mandir both side of the roads are full of beautiful and unique trees are there. Its worth visiting over there and spend some time with monk. But basically you have to face a language problem when you want to talk with monk. Other than that birds noise are beautiful and calm.

A very calm place to spend more time and pray. Must visit this pagoda with your friends and family.

Buddhist pagodas and monasteries are known to give each and everyone the peace of mind and calm in soul. This mandir is no different. Visit to experience calmness amidst the locals and speak with the locals to know its history.

Mahamuni Buddha vihara.this place is wonderful for worshipping to the lord buddha..every year of march its celebrate grand festival.which call Mahamuni mela..8th of march the Mahamuni Mela will begin.and end after 7th long days..

Mahamuni buddha mandir is a very old buddha stupa in Bankul. To reach here take the left cut right after kalachara. The route is full of greenery. The quality is also good. I enjoyed the trip thoroughly. The stupa is as usual very clean, peaceful and aesthactically soothing.

This Buddha Temple is the main attraction of the area. Every day people from lacal area and abroad came to see the temple. The fair is organized here every year base on this temple. The temple is located near Banakul New Market. Anybody can visit this place from Agartala through a direct bus.
