Arogya Van

Aarogya Van is a beautiful place all about nature and finding yourself. It has lots of different plants and amazing artwork made from plants. When I walked around, I felt calm and peaceful, with the sound of leaves rustling and birds singing all around me. It's a great escape from the busy city, where you can relax and enjoy nature's beauty. Aarogya Van helps you remember how wonderful the natural world is.

A lovely garden that is built in a few months where once a rubbish dump stood.
The garden is built in the shape of the human body, with medicinal plants grown that section of the body where they are effective.

Brilliantly conceptualised , executed and maintained a new age medicinal garden with audio visual interpretation centre, clean toilets, souvenir shop, restaurant , paid electric buggys for seniors with guide.

Spending time is a must to understand naturopathy , plant based healing and India's ayurvedic or herbal richness.

We visited Arogya Van on 26th Nov, 2023. Our guide was Mr. Haren Mehta. We utilized the buggy facility provided by Arogya Van to roam the entire garden because it is huge. Mr. Haren was amazing in terms of his knowledge, all the information he shared with us. He explained to us about each and every plant, tree that was present in Arogya Van. This is a must visit place and everyone should make time to go through this grande garden created at Ekta Nagar!

Aarogya van is one of the fascinating concept… it is approx one and half kms run covered in an electric cart.
It has aushadh manav like structure on ground. On each part of the manav various plants are grown, which has useful benefits and effective for that particular part.

They have a shop also which sells plant based medicines / ayurvedic medicine powders like hair oil, massage oil, ashwagandha powder, herbal tea masala, powder for diabetes, immunity etc.

They have canteen where you can have breakfast, snacks and lunch. Lunch is gujarati thali, which is ltd with dal, rice/khichdi, roti, one green vegetable, one dry vegetable. Food is good and hygiene made by local people mainly females. In fact I saw that they remove footwear outside the kitchen.

They have wooden toys shop, earthen pot shop and also they sell few plants, in case you want to buy.

Again, you have to book tickets for arogya van online and window tickets are not available. Food coupon is also available online but also can be bought when you visit.

Very informative Park based on Medicinal herbs theme.

Best place to visit for all nature and plant lovers. So much variety of plants. Their medical significance is explained so well and displayed in a very innovative manner. Really shows India's culture, tradition and power in Ayurveda. Must visit for kids to make them understand how rich our flora and fauna is. Some beautiful photo spots are cherry on the cake

Arogyavan is a great place to know about ayurveda. Each and every stone, sculpture, plant, water body has a story behind it. I visited there for my academic purpose and Mr. Haren Mehta was with me throughout the journey. He was very helpful and supportive. Had a great experience with him. Whoever is interested in ayurveda or landscaping should visit arogyavan.

Arogya Van was actually a pleasant surprise as I had initially expected this to be a tourist trap. But actually it was a very good experience. The highlight is the arrangements of the plants, trees and bushes on the corresponding areas of the human body . Must try the cafe food as well. The souvenir shop inside was not taking credit cards that inhibited us

It is a lovely place and has lot of medicinal plants with a good concept to explain. A human body shape is made with all relevant plants as per body areas . Guide with cart is must else you will not know details of van.

Highly recommend this place if you are a nature enthusiast. I believe it is better than the other 'Vans' around.

This is the second point in Khalwani to Zarvani Eco Tourism. The aroma and colour of plants around as you enter this place can relaxes your mind and lift your mood. The place is very well maintanted. This place is all about yoga, ayurveda and meditation; and a must visit for plant lovers.

A beautiful managed health garden consisting of all aurvedic plants which are beneficial to Ur health. Well managed informative staff. Golf carts available for old people who can't walk and explore by feet. Also information center to see the park digitally having android app. The arogya can is providing lots of employment to the locals. There is also a wellness center. Nice gardening and Yoga center.

Amazing green theme park, this place is very under visited, but this should be a must visit. U could either take a open van for 7 people for rs 500 or walk on ur own . My suggestion is to walk on ur own. A very informative place with lots of themes based on Indian healthcare "Arogya" . You also have lots of different species of plants. A great place to visit.

Excellent garden, you would love this place if you are a natural enthusiast. There is a small video show explaining the importance of plants and their purpose.
You need at least 2 hours to completely explore this place.

One the most amazing and must visit place if you are visiting Statue of unity. This place contains lots of information about medicine plants which can play a vital role in curing many disease placed very beautifully. Along with that it has many unique monuments and sculptures. Plenty of varities of plants are displayed. This place has also shop where organic home made food items are available. It also contains facilities of pancharma and other related treatment. So don't miss to visit this place.

Arogya Van is one of the major attraction in SOU comples. Lot of information is provided about various medicinal plants. Also there is human body type structure created inside and various medicinal plants are there. There is small cafeteria serving snacks and juice. Entry ticket is Rs 50 per person. There is also Yoga garden, where calm music is played.

Arogya Van (Herbal Garden) is developed near the Statue of Unity, which is spread over an area of about 17 acres. Arogya Van exhibits a wide range of medicinal plants and health-related landscapes. The aim of this attraction at kevadia, is to raise awareness about the important role played by plants in the wellness of human beings. Emphasis is also laid on Yoga, Ayurveda and Meditation for being an integral part of a person’s well-being.
There are five gardens inside Arogya Van – Garden of Colours, Aroma Garden, Yoga Garden, Alba Garden and Leutea Garden.

Excellent garden developed by gardeners. Please take cart facility available at the gate. Driver will give you excellent information on every plant and tour becomes more structured and informative.
