People from different parts of the country visit here . The best time to visit here is off season however it has another type of environment during Dusshera.

Shri Ugratara Temple is located in Mahishi village of Mahishi block of Saharsa, about 18 kilometers away from Saharsa station. In this ancient temple, the idol of Bhagwati Tara is very old and attracts devotees from far and wide. On either side of the main deity, there are two smaller deities who are worshiped by the people as Ekajata and Neela Saraswati. Jai Maa Taare🙏♥

Shri Ugratara Mandir, Mahishi, Saharsa is situated at a distance of about 17 Kms west of Saharsa station in Mahishi village. In this ancient temple, the idol of Bhagwati Tara is said to be very old and draws devotees from far and wide. On either side of the main deity, there are two smaller female deities which are worshipped by the people as Ekjata and Nil Saraswati.
