The Fern Sardar Sarovar Resort, Ekta Nagar (Kevadia), Gujarat

Nice clean three star hotel which is fairly new (2+ years). Good for a short stay - we stayed here for the Statue of Unity visit. The restaurant staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The food was good too. Has a Jain owner who is also constructing a Jain temple in the vicinity. Only veg food. When we visited there was a wedding also happening in the same hotel and so the vibe was a bit distorted but I still recommend this hotel for a quick stay.

The property is awesome and bang in front of the Ekta Nagar railway station for Statue of Unity. The only annoying thing is that every time you enter with your car, they make you open the hood and boot for security checking. The rooms are well appointed and spacious with all the necessary facilities and amenities and worth the price. The buffet breakfast spread is extensive and has lots of variety to choose from. The only thing I found lacking in service is the absence of a plastic stool or chair in the bathroom to seat on and bathe. You can't expect senior citizens to bathe while standing or sitting on the bathroom floor. There are no other complaints about everything else. Overall an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

A memorable stay. The hotel is bang opposite the station. Walkable. Neat and clean. The staff is super courteous. A special call out to Priti from the front desk and Manish the bell boy. I believe this is amongst the best properties around Statue of Unity. Room Tariff - Value for money, Staff - excellent, food- delicious. The hotel staff is really helpful right from the check in to check out. Every one is welcoming here. Wish definitely stay here if I ever visit SOU again.

I recently visited Fern Resort in Gujarat with my family and I must say, the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff members, particularly Shanu, Rajani, and Ishan, were extremely helpful and accommodating, always available to answer any questions and help with anything we needed.

The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The food was varied and delicious, and we all enjoyed trying new dishes.

After we checked out, the resort kindly allowed us to store our luggage there until our train in the evening, making our experience much smoother and hassle-free.

To top it all off, they even provided us with a free ride to Ekta Nagar Railway Station even if that was just opposite the resort, all thanks to Manish.

Overall, I would describe our experience as truly mesmerizing.

Had dinner with family from their restaurant (Zarwani Favours) after our visit to the statue of unity and the food was amazing. The service was outstanding. We were a happy about the fact that we only had vegetarian options, the taste and flavour was great. One of the best was live counter of chat and noodles. Would definitely recommend this restaurant on your return journey from the statue of unity.

The luxury accommodation at The Fern Sardar Sarovar Resort is impressive, offering a comfortable and upscale experience.

However, there is room for improvement in the provision of washroom kits as the services in this regard were lacking.

In room 1118, I found the placement of the fan and AC to be inconvenient, which affected the overall comfort of the stay.

The reception staff was a highlight of my experience, demonstrating cordiality and good manners, making check-in and check-out hassle-free.

Breakfast at the resort was excellent, but it was a disappointment to find that honey was missing from the breakfast options.

I suggest the addition of a cycle service, either free or paid, to allow guests to enjoy early morning or evening rides on a circular route around the Statue of Unity, enhancing the overall experience.

The Fern Sardar Sarovar Resort offers luxury accommodation and great service but needs to address some room-related issues and enhance the breakfast offerings. The addition of a cycle service would be a valuable addition for guests.

I’ve had great experience in two days stay. The hotel staff is very courteous and well mannered. Nice ambience.

The food is very good, only pure veg food is available. The breakfast was lavish.

Travel desk adds lot of value.

The swimming pool was not available due to extended cleaning work, house keep must improve on this and ensure timely cleaning and avoid wasting customer time.

One of the best hotels that I will recommend if you are going to Statue of Unity. Awesome location with Ekta Station in front and Mcdonalds and many folding restaurants nearby.
Awesomely great service. A special thanks to Priti for helping out. Went there with 6 adults and 5 kids. Got rooms in very good budget and food was very nice.

Overall it's a best resort for stay and food is also good but they always keep food repeating.. variety need to be changed every day .everyday repeat food not should be done..fast food options are less.North Indian food options are repeated daily.

The hotel is very good but the service is very poor, especially coffee shop...we we were waiting to place for an order and we got meal after 1 hr...be careful about check out time is morning 10 am, pls make your trip as per this time....property is very good.

I had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. Everything was great, but I have a small suggestion about the breakfast menu; it was mostly the same items both days. Other than that, I was very happy with the staff and their service. Definitely worth staying at this property.

We had an enjoyable experience during our stay. Staff was courting and friendly , food was also good . There is a huge pool and they have variety of room types - quite a big hotel with good facilities

Awesome experience of luxury and comfort. Great food, ambience and facilities. Staff is also very cooperative and helpful in nature. enjoyed our workshop very much.
The statue of unity is among all other places to visit nearby like cactus garden, cruise etc. Ekta nagar railway station is just opposite of the hotel. E rikshaw available to move around. In the evening you can visit SOU for a laser light show and the Narmada arti.

Right in front of train station and direct busses to the SOU campus makes it a great option to stay while visiting magnificent monument!

Very nice place to stay. Good services and vert helpful and great staff. My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable in this hotel. It is a newly built hotel with ample space for parking, large lawns, garden, walking paths, swimming pool, and upcoming Jain temple.
This hotel is exactly opposite to Akta nagar railway station, which is a plus point in case you are planning to travel by train. Walkeble from Food Court and ekta Mall.

Our family of 17 of us stayed at Ferna, Ekta Nagar and the experience has been awesome! We stayed for 2 nights Jan 2 & 3, 2024.

Neat and clean, quick efficient service by all staff members, tasty variety of food and the ambiance of the hotel - all was superb!
