Drive or ride along the canal is amazing experience! Narmada river canal amazingly constructed and very beautiful! One needs to get permission from the officials to enter these premises! It is issued before entering the Sardar Sarovar dam! This stretch is amazing if you ride or drive along! Very photogenic locations! Photographers paradise!

Recently, i visited Sardar sarovar dam. When i visited dam, reservoir full of water because of heavy rain in up stream side. So seen was too beautiful. In addition, i visited main canal of dam, their flow of water and pressure was very high. The main canal looked like a river. Furthermore, at main gate of canal lots of information was written on the gates wall.

Worth a visit...should stop the car n look around..take pictures bcoz it provides for a beautiful backdrop...Have been there in winter..a soothing environment..

Very nice place to visit with family. Very large area covered by reservoir dam. You can register online to see dam turnnel from inside.
