It's new Shoolpaneshwar Mahadev temple, situated on the south bank of Narmada river, opposite to Statue of Unity. Old temple was submerged in the Sardar Sarovar Dam. There are two Shiva Lingam in the old temple and one Lingam brought from that and other Lingam couldn't brought. It's very famous temple.

Come here in the evening at 7 pm and walk around the area. Then at 7.45 pm walk down to the bank of the Narmada River and take part in the Aarti if you are a believer.

Its very beautiful and well organised place. The temple priest reminded me of crazy dacoits like priest in other big temples of the country, not because they are similar but because he was warm enough and sweet to explain what temple it is, which god, everything.
Also the narmada aarti close by is a bliss to attend in the evening. Like orchestra aarti and bhajans with light show and all well organised and free.
One thing, public washrooms, were extremely horrible and since its a temple place senior people, females, kids are obvious visitors, such facilities are a must.
Otherwise its a very good place.

A Very beautiful temple situated on the banks of Holy River Narmada, just few kilometres away from Statue Of Unity and Kevadia. State Bus Transport Service available at walking distance from the Temple. Best time to Visit would be rainy season if you like to exore nature at its best. The Temple premises has recently been renovated and can accommodate many visitors at any time. Best timing to visit the Temple would be evening Aarti. Maa Narmada Aarti is the key tourist attraction at this Temple. Moreover onecan perform Various Shaiv Pooja at the Temple like Rudri and Laghu Rudri in the presence of priests. Many beautiful Ashrams are also located in nearby areas you have to ask locals for that. Narmada Riverfront has been built in a way that it can accommodate around 1000 - 2000 visitors for Narmada Aarti. River has danger signs for Holy dip in the water. Ekta Nursery is also located in this area. You can visit for minimal fees. You can also see glimpse of the Statue Of Unity From The Temple premises.

Place is very beautiful and near by statue of unity. If you want to go here you can go with your vehicle. Her eat evening they do "MA NARMADA ARTI" I suggest to attend that arti. You can get time online or you can ask there.

Shoolpaneshwar Mahadev temple is a very ancient temple of Lord Shiva located at Gora village about 22 kms from Rajpipla. In fact, this is a relocated place from its original location in the upstream of Narmada river. Due to the construction of Navagam dam and Sardar Sarovar reservoir, the old temple got submerged. Therefore, the deities are shifted to its present location at Village Gora near Rajpipla town. The place has its own esoteric aura of divinity and spirituality.
