IRCTC Food Plaza

It was an awesome experience having food here. During my last visit there was a group of school children who are dining here. Place was clean and hygienic and safe. Staff was polite and prompt in placing order and providing food. I had Khamman Dhokla here and it was tasty. It is located diagonally opposite to main entrance of railway station on ground floor below another restaurant.

Amazing place for Breakfast and Snacks.
The Food Track (IRCTC Food Plaza) on the ground floor serves snacks and dry snacks throughout the day. It is located in the Railway Station complex of Ekta Nagar with ample parking space. The place is well maintained and very clean.

The Mexican Pockets is the must-try dish while Thepla, Khaman, Cheese Samosa and Sabudana Wada were the other items available which were great too. We were at SOU for a couple of days and had breakfast on both days here.

Costing:
Mexican Pockets: Rs 50
Sabudana Wada: Rs 40
Thepla: Rs 70
Khaman: Rs 40

Overall: The cost is reasonable and it is absolute value for money. It is lesser known and people ignore it like the typical IRCTC food plazas which serve sub-standard food but this is one is different and great. Must visit if you are in Ekta Nagar

Pro-tip: If you are coming from Mumbai and you have an early arrival at Ekta Nagar, have the first-day breakfast at this place.
