A good place to visit in the winter, a boat ride is a must try. Also, small shops can prepare fresh food if you ask them, and for a reasonable price. (but it will take them around 2 hours to prepare the food.)

Great place to go once for a outing with family. Boating is the only good activity to do there. First lake to the right is better and less crowded. Better to go in off season so the lotus get a chance to bloom.

Love this beautiful place. It's just nature all over, pretty calm place, rush on weekends , have been there with office mates. Lots of Lotus fields everywhere. Visit during morning uptill 1 pm, it's the best time when Lotus blooms. Boating in the evening is one of the best experience. Great place for photography and pre wedding shoots.

Around 25kms from Indore, this place is a must visit in the months of Nov-Feb.
It's a perfect picnic spot. You could bring your own food, games and easily spend 3-4 hrs here with your friends or family.
There are some local shops as well that serve tea and maggie at very minimal prices.
Also, various photography spots managed by the locals are also there, for which they charge just Rs 10 per person if we wish to click our pictures.
Apart from this, a boat ride at Rs100 per person for 15 minutes is also available which takes you in the middle of the Lotus Lake so you could get a closer look at them.
The overall atmosphere and environment is very peaceful and scenic.

I would personally recommend a weekday to visit this place.

It is a Mother of Lotus flowers nearby Indore, MP, is a very beautiful place to see lotus in lake of Gulawat, it is a natural beauty.
It is approx. 26Km from Vijay Nagar Square Indore.
Must visit in between Nov. to Feb.
Boating available here for Rs. 100 per person.
Take right from Indore Metro depot via Gandhinagar, because road showing In google map from Metro Station of Super Corridor 5 is not good.
To reach this place Roads are very narrow from Hatod Village, so be careful while driving in this place, and avoid entering deep in village inside.

The view is amazing. The calm nature and the vibe is at par. Must recommended place for outsiders who are in indore. The boating experience adds more to it.
