Temple is very beautiful. It is not so big but also not too small. It is surrounded by garden which is like icing on the cake, but people are not allowed to go there.
Many programs are arranged in a year and many (hindu) baba/priest from other countries visit here and they give speeches in English (which is something very rare).
After entering in the temple you will feel positive energy and people here come here on daily basis.

Shree Akhileshwar Mahadev temple, however, has not the Vedic historical significance. Also, none of Hindu Sculptures though have described this temple. But, it does not reduce the importance of this holy place. This temple is in Chinmaya Mission Ashram in the Rasoolabad Area of North Allahabad. Pujya Swami Tejomayananda, Swami Subodhananda & other senior Swamis of Chinmaya Mission founded it in around 2004. Latter the Pranpratistha of idol took place from 19-23rd February 2009. The temple opens from 6 O’clock morning to 12 O’clock noon, and in the evening, it opens from 4 PM to 9 PM.

As far the as architectural beauty of this place is concerned, the architecture of this temple is as per specifications in the scriptures of Hindus. Having the beautiful pink stone and the white marble as the part of the construction, make this place look amazingly beautiful. Inside the temple, there is an idol of Lord Shiva made with the black marble. This is the place where devotees worship Lord Shiva. Therefore, you must visit this place. Here, in addition to getting the beautiful view of this temple, you may also feel some real Shiv-Bhakti.

This temple is a very good place for having a good times with your family and friends. You can spend time with them aby worshipping almighty god Lord Shiva.
