A rare temple of everyone's beloved Hanuman Ji lying on the temple bed. Located at Madral, few kilometers away from Naihati as well as Kankinara station, this temple offers a unique charm. People from various corners pay a visit here for the blessings along with to witness the uniqueness.

The temple is well known amongst the localities only and is still under the process of reconstruction. This happens to be Asia's largest idol of Lord Hanuman in lying down posture. It has been seen that during every Tuesday Arati so water seeps out from the idols body the water is pumped by using a suction pump placed at the sanctum.
Altogether a wonderful place to visit & if someone is a disciple of Lord Hanuman, then it is a must visit place for them, if you are in West Bengal.

Beautiful place. It's very old temple.

The temple is located the area is Madral and nearest Railway station is Kankinara , Sealdah Division. However, by road it can be visit through Kalyani Express Way. The temple area is vast and excellent. Peaceful atmosphere is prevailing there. There are other Deities . The temple is called Hanuman mandir and the speciality of the temple is the deity of Hanumanji is laying on the earth here , taking rest and his weapon Mace (Gada) placed under his head. Hanumanji is being worshipped here every day. There are resting place, drinking water, public toilets, car parking etc.are available. The temple is very old. Devotees from various places usually come here and offer their pujas.

It is a great place to visit. The ambience is very pleasing and Lord Hanuman here is different from any other temple. The Lord here is in a sleeping posture in a carved out niche. Behind the hanuman temple there is a temple dedicated to Lord Siva
