The temple complex housing the resting place of Ramdev is located at Ramdevra (10 km from Pokhran) in Rajasthan. The present temple structure was built around Ramdev's final resting place by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner in 1931.
The complex also houses Samadhis of his disciples like Dalibai and some other of his chief disciples.
The complex also houses the tombs of five Muslim Pirs, who had come from Mecca.
The complex also houses a step-well, the water of which devotees believe has healing powers.

Sawai Singh Rathore / Basni / Jodhpur. In the public mind, the date of the incarnation of Lokadevata Baba Ramdev is considered as Bhadrapada Shukla Dwitiya (seed). Apart from this, in a research treatise, the incarnation day is considered to be the fifth Monday of the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. This claim is of Dr. Sonaram Bishnoi, who researches Rajasthani folk literature related to Baba Ramdev. Dr. Bishnoi, who retired as the head of the Rajasthani Department of Jayanarayan Vyas University, has propounded this fact in his research book 'Baba Ramdev: History and Literature'. The genealogy of the Tomar Kshatriyas has been written from other references, including the book of the Bhatars of the Tunvars and the 'Brief History of the Tanwar Dynasty' in the research book, descendant of Kunti son Arjuna.

In research, Baba has been described as a descendant of Kunti's son Arjun Pandava in the lunar Kuru clan. Arjuna had a king named Tom in the 80th generation. Tomar (Tunwar, Tanwar) dynasty was introduced in his name. Anangpal (II) was in the 24th generation of Tom. On not having a son, he handed over the kingdom of Delhi to Dohithe Prithviraj Chauhan and came to Patan on pilgrimage. Here he had three sons in old age. His son Amji Patan left Rajasthan and moved. The incarnation of Baba in Ajmalji's house is believed to be in the 7th generation of Anangpal (II).
