The Upper Ghaghri Falls, 4 kilometres from Netarhat, is a smaller waterfall, below Netarhat Dam. The sound of falling water makes the surrounding musical.It is known for its mesmerizing beauty and a major tourist attraction in Jharkhand.

Wonderful waterfall in lap of nature. Upper Ghaghri water fall is short in height but very beautiful. Height of this water fall nearly 25 meters. It will be great to plan a picnic with friends. Approach road to this spot is narrow and unpaved. Generally less number of tourist visit this place everyday so it's not advised to visit this place alone. It covered with long trees but Sunshine reaches to the water falls through the gaps and creates a mesmerizing view.
