Dr Basab is the best doctor i have ever known. When me and my family got covid its because of his sipervision and timely medical intervention we got saved. He has deep knowledge of his subject and even in his 60s he is up to date with current medical practises and research. Very humble and approachable

So, my mother was ill for 4 days straight. We didn't consult a doctor because we thought it was a mere case of gas. The second day, a relative of mine called Dr. Basab Banerjee to ask him what's wrong with my mother. Instead of even coming and seeing her, he confidently suggested medicines which were to be taken by my mother. We trusted him. It didn't work, as usual. We really wanted to take necessary measures, as our family doctor was unavailable we requested him to come to our place and see how my mother is. I, being an 18 year old know very well that no doctor is so efficient that he can just suggest medicines even without doing a normal checkup. Not even looking at the patient. Still, we were not in a mental state to question him too. He said she had vertigo and it was due to high pressure. He suggested a few medicines, we all had idea about ( so I don't know what unique thing he did, as a doctor )
He asked us to wait for 3 days. The next day, my mother was feeling even more sick, we luckily found our family doctor and he said she had a brain stroke. She was in a critical condition and went through a brain surgery.
So, I hope you guys can understand what kind of inconvenience we all had to face.
We all consider doctors as next to god.
We really want everybody else to be well aware. We really wanted you all to know how the "Best general physician" is.
Thank you.

Dr. Banerjee is renowned as a general physician. However, my friend had to go through a lot of trouble after he wrongly diagnosed her mother. She underwent a major brain surgery since the doctor could not take time out to actually meet the patient, and prescribed her the wrong medications over phone, which ultimately led to serious repercussions. It is understandable that doctors are always busy but nothing justifies wrong diagnosis. We put a lot of faith and trust on doctors, so they should realize the responsibility which they are expected to bear. My friend's mother is still in a critical condition. This situation could have been avoided if the doctor did his job the way he is expected to.

I don't have much knowledge about medicine, nor any experience; but I do know that before just blindly pointing out a patient for having Vertigo and high pressure, (when in real, she was having a stroke) you are supposed to properly diagnose them first. Because of your diagnosis now a woman, who is almost like a mother to me is going through such a critical state. If you would've diagnosed her properly and with care then she would've gotten the help she is getting now a lot sooner.

It's absolutely okay if you don't have the expertise to figure out one's condition and admit it but to provide Vertigo treatment to someone having a stroke is outrageous. People like us rely on you before we take the high ground of the hospitals but we can't do that anymore, can we? Due to your casual approach, a mother of two is going through such a traumatic surgery that anyone will do anything to avoid, let alone the cost. Doctors like you don't have the place just after God, rather clearing the path to death it seems.

Knew him to be a doctor who was supposed to understand a patient's symptoms and cure it. Just because the patient is suffering from vertigo does not prove the fact that he would not give her any kind of tests to check his diagnosis even when he knew that her Bp was way more than normal. He didn't even bother to change the meds or even ask to admit her in the hospital. These kind of doctors still belong to our society and they hold licence for that. This is not how medical science work and we all should try to protest that and see that our relatives or friends if ill goes to the right hand.

Dr. Basab Banerjee came to my house to see my mother who was terribly ill due to constant vomiting and head pain. He asked us to give her nex pro rd 40 and wait for 3 days. But the next day my mother was discovered of having brain stroke. We consider a doctor to be a live god to us. But unfortunately because of such doctors we have to face such inconvenience and alas my mother had to go through a severe surgery of brain because of his wrong diagnosis.
