One of the best govt school in west Bengal. Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful. I studied here from class 2 to class 12 . The alumni association is very active and they help studnets needing financial support. There is science and arts for students in class 11 and 12. Now after the renovations ,students have separate locker box and gym facelity is also available now. The physics and chemistry lab is very well maintained. Often we call it BNGHS. Every year the past students come here on reunion day and saraswati puja

Had a competitive exam here. One may take auto from Bidhannagar road to here (₹20).
Teachers and staffs are good. Clean and calm environment inside the school premises.
They provided safe places for keeping candidates' belongings.

It's our school, Our school location is so nice, beside the school a big market is situated, a drinking water tank for all people is located here. Inside the school it has a basket ball court. A different building set up for practical. Only Science and Arts are available, no commerce.

I want to take admission in this school.☺

Studying in this school for 10 years...loved it so much...according to me this school is better than any other school in Kolkata in case of student friendly campus...the teachers are very helpful.

This is my school. A good Govt-run school for boys in Salt Lake. Location is good. Teachers are excellent. There is a park beside the school. It is adjacent to BD market. This school is fondly nicknamed BD School for its situation in BD block.

Bidhannagar Govt. High School, or BNGHS, is an educational institution in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It is situated in BD block in Salt lake and hence also popularly referred as BD School. It is the first government co-educational senior secondary school established in West Bengal. The medium of teaching is Bengali and English. The school is affiliated to West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.

The best government school in Salt Lake. Period. The teachers are really caring and their teaching methodology is brilliant.

It teaches basketball and table tennis free.

This school is too far from bidhannagar station.Getting off at the station you will walk towards the bus stand.This school iis very good.
