She is very caring and sincere human being.her treatment procedure is fabulous 👌. I want to recommend her to everyone...best gynecologist in my eyes in kolkata..She never prescribed unnecessary medicine and test to her patients. ...she always gives importance to her patients..as she take more time to checkup her patients and listen to her patients...

Initially, she recommended a C-section, but agree to go for NVD when natural pain became a viable option, she kept her word and successfully conducted a normal delivery. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Sharmishtha Patra for the excellent surgery performed by her on my wife. As such, my wife was under her treatment for quite a long time. The surgery carried out by her on my wife is very much successful and my wife's recovery has been smooth without any complications. Dr. Patra is not only a highly skilled surgeon but also showed tremendous compassion and support throughout the entire period from the pre-surgery stage to the post surgery stage. During the pre-surgery period she explained to my wife the procedure in detail and made my wife feel at ease prior to the operation. For us she is god-like figure. She uses minimal medicine and recommends scans only when required. She is perhaps the only doctor who does not medicalise pregnancy which is a natural phenomenon. She supports patients for normal delivery if the patients are interested and is always by their side through the pregnancy journey. Kudos to you doctor. We were blessed to have her by our side.

The first thing that comes to my mind is her calm and confident demeanour .She patiently listens to all our queries.She guides you well and explains you the situation and the options that can be done.The best part is she responds to you on your queries very quickly over messages if she is unavailable for a physical appointment.I trust her and she is an inspiration and I highly recommend her for everyone

I am not a big fan of taking too many medicines and hence thought visiting a doctor means stacks of medicines. During my pregnancy i was sceptical as to how much medicines i would need however I am a fan of Dr. Patra. She inspired me so much as a doctor that I wanted my child to become a doctor. I still believe that amongst so many gynaecologist she has been the one who could cure you with her words. I still remember during my labour when i was afraid of the pain she told me “You have no idea what you are capable of unless you become a mother” . I can never forget that. Thank you doctor.

I had my normal delivery under Dr. Patra very recently. She is truly professional, very caring and straightforward.Under her proper guidence I have delivered my baby in Apollo. She encouraged me for NVD which is very rare in any other doctors in Kolkata impressed me the most. My wife went under her guidance during pre COVID. A long 9 months was great for us. She was non-talkative at times but when it comes to treatment she was absolutely great! One particular instance we will never forget, when we paid the full fees, she returned 500 rs note with a smile saying - no need. I would say if there is any complication, Dr Sharmistha is one of very best in Kolkata. Since then we moved away, but if needed, we will certainly consult her. Thank you Maam.

Firstly I would like to thank Dr. Patra for her consultation during my wife's pregnancy and successfully performing cesarean delivery. My wife was under Dr. Patra from day 1 and we both are very thankful to her. As a doctor we found her very caring, polite, listens to the patient queries and answer them in details.Her constant encouragement when we were tensed gave us courage and she was always there when we needed. Infact on the day of delivery, my wife was admitted to the hospital under emergency situation and as soon as she was informed of the condition by the hospital authority she was there in the hospital and successfully performed cesarean delivery. After the surgery she nicely explained the condition of the mother and baby to our family.Post delivery as well she mentored us and we are following her guidance. We have now become a proud parents of a baby boy. In future also we won't think twice to revisit her for consultation.
