A very well maintained library with state of the art infrastructure and facilities. Contains more than 2 lakhs of books plus several thousand printed and e-journals. Sufficient space and facilities for studying are available here. It is quite pleasant to sit inside this library and study.

It's was such a great experience to study in LMB library

The library of Dibrugarh University contains lots of necessary books. It has some good facilities like 24×7 electricity, necessary water, fast wifi connection etc. Daily newspapers are available here in all the floors of the library. Basically Hindi, English and Assamese newspapers are available here. The environment remains quiet and peaceful. It is always the best place to study. The books are so perfectly arranged with some fixed numbers given to each book. When you search for a book on one of the computers available here, then you can easily find the exact location of the book. Lots of sitting places are available including some sofas also. Wash rooms are always neat and clean. Lift is also available for specially abled people. You can find lots of people here studying or doing some work on their laptop, but no matter who's doing what the environment is always the best. So peaceful, so calm and so quiet. It is a place where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the moment. You really gotta come here someday and enjoy the environment by yourself. Outside the library there are some benches where you can sit in a beautifully maintained greenary surrounding you and take a moment off. I myself often goes here and spend a lot of time just sitting. It's really feels great here. There are 2 gates to enter the library. At first, when you enter in the library you have to go to the left side to put your bags and other stuff. Then you enter through the main door and register your given library card. There are some computers in each floors except for the top floor to help you find your books. There are various collections of different books in this library. Daily newspapers are always available. All in all this place is amazing. Do visit here someday when you come to the library. This is without a doubt one of the finest libraries in the whole state.

The finest library in this part of the country. Top-notch infrastructure and a sizeable collection of books make it worth a visit. Temporary membership cards are available for whoever wants to make use of the facility.

Main library of Dibrugarh university. Good collection of text book, reference book, research material also journal for national and local reputation for research. Library is non air-conditioning. It include the computer center inside.
