This place is very beautiful. The pine forest here. And there is a very beautiful view of the mountains, forests and Koel river in the distance. The way development work is being done here in the last few years. The natural beauty here is being damaged

Amazing place, large forest of pine among the hills. Koel birds used to come here. Now only scenic beauty left. Great place for photography.

Koel View Point Very beautiful point, Hair is a very poplar point. If you are going to Jharkhand, then definitely visit Netarhat once.

Good place for visit. You can sit alone for sometime.

This is one of the best view point for sun rise💜 because it has a freedom place to go beyond your photographic imagination. But be careful as it has no barrier. Don’t leave your kids near that . And also when your standing for photographs kindly be careful.

Elevation Difference: Coming from ranchi which is at 654m of elevation from sea level, one start climbing up and netarhat is at height of 1100+ meters.

Time to visit: During winters when the sky is clear and winds are chilly.

Distance Travelled: there are two routes to reach from ranchi to netarhat, the one which Google maps will suggest you is 149km which is a boring route. (RNC - bero - sisai - netarhart).

What I do, I take (rnc - bero - loherdaga - (break point in "hotel red rock") - netarhat) which is also 150km with much better road and view..

Location: The view is terrific and mesmerizing, it's on you how much you can consume and how much you want to capture through your lens.

Better place to see and feel the cold breeze and early morning sun on the face and much
better place to see the sunrise than the so called sunrise point.

It's not about the location it's about the exploration and crunching the distance during the ride you do that matters.

Keep the place clean and respect the nature, we got only one mother earth.

Beautiful place, Koel river can be seen flowing far away. Pine trees around this place is awesome. There is a makeshift stall for local handicrafts made of wood.

Once in Netarhat, it is hard to resist the charm of the River Koel. It is about 2 Kms form the bus-stand in between the jungles of Chirpines reaches you to the Koel View Point. The river flows about 10 kms below the site. Origination from a local hilly village Tutua Paani, the sun osculate waters share the spectacle of dawn and twilight, reflecting the myriad hues of the rising and setting sun. from deep crimson to fiery orange, or just the lilac and azure of a cloudless sky , the clear waters of the river mirror the passing moods of a nature at its scintillating best. Do not forget to watch the river during moonlit nights as well, when the water seems to get transformed into a silvery stream. Located on the banks of the river are clusters of small villages as Saarna Toli, Chaatan Jori resided by the primitive tribes that compel you to scribble some brisk notes or go for random shots with your camera, capturing their interesting ways of life.

Good place to click pictures and very open space so no issue of social distancing in pandemic time.
This location is surrounded by plam forest which feels like cherry on cake.

It provides you lot of time from first light to sunrise for picture clicking. So it will be good if you reach this place before some time.

You also get tea and Maggie at this location which makes this view more special with awesome tea and morning food.

The koyal view aka the sunrise point, it's good.. I won't say it's mesmerizing...as it will over hyping it... But you get disappointed... If you get there, the pine trees and the morning fresh air and view... Compensates, what's lacking...

You will enjoy a full view of Netarhat valley from here. From the top you can see the sloppy view of a mountain full of pine trees ending at the crop fields. It's popular mainly because of the sunrise view. You will clearly see the sun coming up behind those mountains. You will have two shops in the morning for hot tea and Jharkhand famous Dhuska. You will also enjoy pine tree forest to your right and left. But you will have to come here early for sunrise. It's not so far from netarhat chowk.
There is not any parking charge here.
It's also a must visit attraction like sunset point.
