Kais Dhar Trek

This place is magical and has a rich history of hiking in Himachal Pradesh.
The place is accessible from Lot village as well as from Peej village in Kullu.
It's worth seeing the magnificent forest with snow capped mountains.

If someone is looking to go for a trek around Kullu, then they should definitely consider climbing to Kaisdhar.
You have an accessible road quite a ways up to a Village named 'Lot'. You can reach this village by a personal two wheeler or four wheeler or even choose to take the bus that goes up three times a day at around 10am, 3pm and 6pm ( under ideal weather conditions)
From Lot, it's a good 45-60 min trek to Kaisdhar.
If you are planning to camp out there overnight, it is recommended to avoid doing so during winter months (December to February).

A short 2-3 hour hike if you're going from peej... A beautiful forest with a variety of beautiful trees and flowers... The view from the top is terrific.. At the top you'll find a century old guest house built by Britishers... Food and water is easily available... You can also camp and bonfire... It is absolutely amazing for a weekend camping... Just loved it..

This place is situated above Dhalpur. A very beautiful place. You have to just walk 6.4 km from Darpoin Temple Peej to reach this place. A beautiful rest house is located just 200 m from the meadows. There's a Dhaba Present from where you can buy yourself a tasty meal with beverages. From Kaisdhar you can Trek to Tara Pur Garh which is The summit of a mountain. A place to visit once in a lifetime.

Paradise for hiking and cycling.....7 kms of forest trail from darpoyn temple to kaisdhar is absolute bliss....the forest deptt has done a great job of maintaining the trail....furthermore....one can go to kamand for another 5 kms of trail.....or towards mathasaur, kadhon or tarapurgarh to explore more.
