I wanted to express my gratitude for the incredible hospitality and service during my stay. The staff, particularly Joshi ji, Singh saheb, Narendar, and Ravi Sharma deserves special praise for their outstanding efforts. Ravi kumar and Narendar , in particular, went the extra mile to ensure we received the best service possible.

Staying at Shiva Cottage was a remarkable experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Patnitop.Thank you for making our stay memorable.

We stayed at Glass view room, the interior as well as the outside view from the balcony is just mind blowing.

Everything there is perfect, the food, the services, location, behaviour of the staff.

Their punctuality is like armed forces, if you gave them a timing, the food will be there at exact timing.

We recommend this property to everyone.

Warm hospitality, super delicious food, aesthetically pleasing room interiors with magnificent views, this is Shiva Cottage for us!! What's really appreciable is the personal interest that the owner puts in to take care of guests.Another unique feature was the personal space given to us for meals, where we could enjoy time with our family.

Very nice property, natural and scenic view, trained and supportive staff, near to main attraction points. Peaceful location. Good for family vacation.

A good place to stay in Patnitop. The services are great. Staff are helpful and friendly. Location is great too. They have many options starting with rooms to cottage. Do give a try to this property

Nice experience overall. Service is good. Food is average. Some dishes are good. Chatni is worth asking for everytime. It was slightly expensive for us due to visiting in peak season. The rooms are good with wooden flooring and walls, bathroom is very good and worth mentioning. The view is direct from balcony and sofa is well suited.

After a lot of looking about we agreed to book Shiva Cottage for our stay at Patnitop. We had heard great things about the place, the location and most importantly the food. We were in for a surprise as the owner Mr Rathe took a keen interest in making our stay as comfortable as our own home. We ordered different food for different days and the food was not only flavourful but always piping hot. Mr Sathe himself supervised the meals that were served. The unique thing about the stay was that we were given a different dining hall. The privacy was the same for other groups too who were there. We were nine adults and a young boy and the dining area being allocated was a blessing as we could indulge in free flowing conversations without invading other guests space. Everyday in the morning the breakfast was excellent. We were in love with the Puri Bhaji. The chutney as an accompaniment is worth mentioning. For dinner we ordered a dogri thali one night and a Kashmiri meal the next. Still would love to go back for those two meals again.
The rooms were very well appointed and had an excellent views of the mist covered mountains. Every morning we woke up to some picturesque painting of nature.
The staff was courteous and went an extra mile to make us comfortable. Given that it was a boutique hotel the services were at par with some of the international hotel chains. The towels were changed everyday and new toiletries were placed in the washrooms. Our only grouse was that Wifi connectivity was touch and go. The cellular services are patchy and as a traveller you do require a good connection.

Extremely clean and spacious rooms with a picturesque view, very courteous staff and such great hospitality. I am surely making it my permanent place of stay henceforth. The vibes of the place are so waem and welcoming. Excellent food in entire Patnitop I can say. Words are not sufficient to describe my pleasure of the stay. 2 dogs are an add on,for they dont let you get bored ever.

Loved the food. Hygiene was properly taken care off. everyday beddings were changed and room was cleaned. Rooms are aesthetically designed.
Location is amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Being a pet lover family , loved bruzo (the dog at shiva cottage) Bruzo played with the kids and we had gala time.

Its a senior citizen friendly property. The owners upgraded our room to ground floor. Lush green gardens, lots of flowers apples and walnut trees makes the aura so relaxing.

One of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed in. The staff was very accommodating. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Treehouse restaurant is also one of the attractions of the property. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone planning to visit Patnitop.

The new building was really good I stayed there for 2 days and it was really fun because the staff was really great and the service was excellent. And the best part was the room and the view from the balcony . The interior of the room was really really beautiful and the hygiene was maintained and they also gave complementary things as well.

How beautiful the property is, rooms, ambience and most importantly their food.. that is finger licking good.
I've been to so many hotels but always had to compromise with the breakfast, since most of the hotels tag this category. At shiva cottage their breakfast in-fact, they know how to serve people and how to bring that smile on your face.

Great experience here! We were in a rush so went ahead with best reviews in Patnitop. Google Maps community didn’t disappoint us, neither did the folks at Shiva Cottage.

We opted for Triple Bed Mountain View room. Having everyone in the family enjoying together was really a refreshing experience after this covid time. The moment we entered the hotel room, we could see efforts put in for hygiene and covid safe behaviour.

The view from the room was great, especially during the evenings. The room had electric blanket, room heater, geyser, kettle; all operating whenever electricity was available.

Food was excellent, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. The owner of the property, Mr Sathe is a very warm and friendly person.

If planning to stay here, either the mountain view or the one with balcony is a really good option.

I went to shiva cottage patnitop on may 8 we stayed there with family. The experience was surreal from food to cleanliness. Everything is so perfect. We took their luxury rooms. The view is just so amazing. Do visit this beautiful boutique property. Just 2 & a half hour drive from jammu.

We stayed at this place for 2 nights ie from 28.07.2021 to 30.07.2021. The staff is extremely courteous, ambience good and food excellent. It is a very per friendly place and we had our dog with us and faced no issues. Infact we could get our own choice dog food cooked at their kitchen.

The location is amazing. The service was really prompt. . The breakfast specially was yum and the rooms were cozy.

Shiva cottage is located at a walking distance from the main patnitop park, at the same time a bit away from the hustle bustle for those looking to find peace, serenity.
We stayed here for a night of 25th January, 2021 when it snowed a day before. the place was fully packed. we reached the hotel a hit late but our rooms were all set and all the 3 rooms were settled by the staff within 10 mins. the food, the washroom, the heating system, the staff and everything else is worth the money.
I would love to visit this hotel again and atay there for a longer duration like 2-3 day.
At the end it was a 5* experience

Best experience so far. If going to patnitop you should stay here . Their hospitality was on top . Moreover their food was excellent. And they also give you access to speakers in the dining area where you can dance and enjoy your evening

We were a group of 15 people and the state was very excellent specially the view from the rooms was a mesmerising the food quality was also very great to talk about the staff the staff was super polite and very understanding cannot compare this place with anywhere else would recommend everyone to visit this place if you ever visit to Patnitop
