Do have traditional food freshly prepared by this local family. It's delicious and yummy. Their two little children love Cadbury silk ..remember to carry for them.

You can enjoy a wonderful experience. You need to trek for 5 min to view the real beauty of the waterfall. Must try the local food available near the waterfall. The journey going through the hill will give thrill and suggesting to have good functional motor vehicles or can book the cab. Don't drive without having experience in driving in hill stations.

Don't expect a big waterfall and go there, you'll be disappointed. It's a small waterfall, very small. I took a bike on rent and went there. The ride was good. It was a very nice ride. I had fun. Enjoy the journey. Near the waterfall there is a small Dhaba where you can have local Himachali food. It was fine, it wasn't that great. If you like riding bikes go for it otherwise I would suggest you to go somewhere else.

One thali is enough for 2.
Falls is not that beautiful. But the way is marvelous. Just take the bike rent and explore manali nearby villages.

Beautiful and quite location. Waterfall is very attractive and one can take good pictures in selfie mode and in groups. Best part is the two dhabas serving local food that is surprisingly cheap but astonishingly tasty and nutritious...Red rice, Mustard leaf curry, corn flour chapati baked on firewood, rajma curry, nigri pickles, Siddu and jaggery.

It was overall nice experience visiting Jana Waterfall. But one thing i must say that the journey is much more beautiful than the destination. There are little dhabas which serves you delicious authentic himachli cusine like makki ki roti ..lingdi ki sbji..siddu...local rajmah..red rice..and other home grown veggies... you can have a short treak around the waterfall as well...

Roads to this place are bit scary but the destination is worth all the inconvenience
There are 2-3 waterfalls within 100 metres of distance. And 2-3 food points claiming the best waterfall view 😅

Awesome place to visit in naggar. Peacefull and quite. Best time is early morning when you can actually be there all by yourself. Short solo trek is the best part. Also try the thali served by the first restaurant when you arrive by a guy named Gautam.

This place is not known by many but people who like to explore often come here, a nice place enclosed by long trees and apple orchids everywhere, do not take personal vehicles but a local driver or cab as they have experience over the roads, extremely dangerous one way roads, trucks are always loading there and ready to departure. There are local villages which provide home stay options, authentic local food delicacies, people who want some peace definitely should visit and stay a day or two, must visit.

Well, it was a good experience being here. I visited here in February, so basically, the waterfall had 0 kinda water flowing through it. But it was peaceful. More than the waterfall, you would enjoy your route from Naggar to Jana. The roads are great and give you a lovely driving experience. This place also has a Jana Dhaba, which has properly local food (Siddu, Sarso Saag, Akroots, etc) and they cook it in proper traditional way. It is a must try dhaba if you crave for local food.

Amazing place to visit. We went there on the bikes we rented, and it was worth it. The road is good and easy to drive. Don't miss the Himalayan Thali there.

A beautiful & peaceful place near Manali. One can relax inside the waterfall plunge pool as there are benches to sit. You can enjoy tea & snacks here & also homemade local food from the nearby Mani Ram Dhaba 👍

The fall has two small falls on its either side as well. You can also visit them.

There is also a hike up along the main fall, and there are two more eating points as well.

A must visit place for all those who enjoy nature & greenery. The Road to Jana Falls is quite adventurous as it passes through dense forest environs & road is narrow but motorable.

Naggar village is the point on Old Kullu road from where you had to take left towards Jana Village if you are coming from Manali side.

Words cannot describe the beauty of this place. Waterfall can turn out to be a disappointed if you are thinking of something like kempty fall or doodh sagar. Its a small fall and you need to trek a little to see it. Place is absolutely in the lap of mother nature with extremely clean air to breath. You may enjoy local food there. Relax with some me time and praise beauty of nature. Highly recommended if you are in manali.

Jana Waterfall is a 30 feet high watefall located near Manali in a quaint village called Jana. One has to trek to the waterfall through dense deodar and pine trees amidst snow-capped mountains. The climb is easier compared to many others in the region and can be completed by beginner level hikers too. There's a wooden bridge laid perpendicular to the direction of Jana Falls which trekkers use to walk across. There is seating arrangement near the waterfall.

Very very beautiful place. Unfortunately not much water was left of the waterfalls. We enjoyed a lovely local meal at this place. Very very nice people who did everything to make us comfortable. No washrooms around though.

It's located near Naggar in a village called Jana Gaon. 2 mins hike to see the waterfall from the base. Ride to this place gives you breathtaking views on the go. Plan to visit if you have an extra day after sightseeing in Manali. Takes 45 to 50 minutes from Manali.
