Bijoypur Lake

This place is awesome. The place is very open so there is too much sunlight. Visiting here in the early morning or afternoon is better. Or you can visit during the winter at any point of the day. It's a tourist place for everyone. No tickets required.

The amazing scenery especially the only porcelain hill in Bangladesh is located here and the mesmerizing Someshwari river which is enough to cool anyone's eyes.

This is the famous limestone lake at Bijoypur. The color of the lake changes throughout the year. Sometimes it is blue and sometimes it is found as ghastly greenish. Swimming is highly prohibited here as the lake is quiet deep due to its century old structure.

Best time to visit this place is during winter. Roads are very good during period. So, you can easily visit there via any modes of transportation.

It is the famous white clay hill and blue water lake of Vijaypur in Durgapur upazila of Netrokona district. The color of the lake changes throughout the year. Sometimes it is available as blue and sometimes as extremely green. Swimming here is extremely dangerous because the lake is deeply calm due to its centuries old structure. But you can have a good time with friends or family.

Winter is the best time to visit this place. So, you can easily get there by any means of transportation. However, if you can take a private car, the journey will be more enjoyable.

Scenic place to visit up north in Netrokona near border area. The lake has been transformed due to human activities and exploitation. Vast difference appeard during my second time around which was quite disappointing. Nevertheless, the color of water remained the central charm to me.

It was great place to travel, taking photos. The lake is not safe. I was beaten by a water snake. Be aware of hills tracks. Stone hard hills can kill you if you miss one step. Use good grip shoe or Snickers. Do not forget to take enough water. Sun will try to dehydrate you fully. #LetsGuide :)

One of the most heavenly places off the beaten track, Birishiri is favorite amongst all tourists who love nature and adores scenic natural beauty. Birishiri lies in Netrokona District. In the backdrop of Birishiri lies the ceramic hills of Durgapur, and the Shomeswari River exists at the center of Birishiri which makes this place truly a paradise for all nature lovers.

Very nice location. Wonderful view. Good for hangout with friends not for family as transportation system is not good. Very close to Indian border which is restricted for visit but some how I have visited to border also. There is a river named Shomeshahawari, famous for sand business. I strongly recommend to visit once with your near and dear people.

Birishiri Chinamatir Pahar is such an amazing sign of Allah to realise how great are His creations. The blue sky, the pink stone and the green water made this an exceptional lake that I have ever seen.

Excellent place for visit. Specially the lakes of different colors of water attracts everyone. But there are no eating or living arrangements. So its really tough to stay there for a whole day. Dhaka to Mymenshing road is fine but the rest up to Birishiri is seriously disastrous.

This is the most beautiful location of Durgapur. People in groups come from far away to see it's mind-blowing natural beauty.
During the monsoon, the appearance of it increases to hundreds more. The main reason for the attention of this location there are many beautiful mountains of ceramic and India & Bangladesh's border.

Transportation system is very good. From Shibganj Bazar to Biyoypur Lake fare is 30Taka And From Birisiri Ghat 40Taka(2023)
