Fantastic experience and food. Took the English speaking waiters guidance - their special Kabuli is excellent. Rice dish with a small portion of cashews and dried containing curry.

The host was very good and food came out quick.

I understand some of the reviews regarding the curries are ghee heavy but that’s also adding to the flavour

You get very unique marwari food over here. The reataurant is less than a km from.clock tower. I tried.malai roti and gulab jamun ki sabzi.

If you are in jodhpur, don't miss the malai roti of Vijay restaurant. It's located in mid of market area but it's worth crossing the market to reach here and taste the food. Everything is made in ghee n am sure whatever you ll order you ll like it. My personal fav apart from everything i tasted was malai roti. Must must try.

Wow! The kabuli is divine, as is everything else. You have to come here and eat, it's my favourite meal from the last 11 I've had in India so far.

All the dishes are made in same gravy with milk and dry masalas only They use only pure ghee and taste is amazing. You will get authentic rajasthani dishes here. Location is right in the market area so place is not that great

It's an old and authentic place. Was recommended by locals. They serve different varieties of dishes like gulab jamun ki sabji, govind gatta, kaju panneer with kismiss etc.. Rotis, lacha Paratha everything was made by only pure ghee. Famous dessert here is Malai roti which was too good. Lahsoon ki chutney was extra-ordinary. Best recommended in Jodhpur.

Easily the best food joint in whole Jodhpur. We won't ever forget the food we had here. The person serving us helped to select what to eat. Must have : Malai Roti, Gulab Jamun ki sabzi.

Soft ghee dripping rotis💯...liked the taste of malai kofta.lahsun ki chatney was mouthwatering ✨🥹... although quantity is less. They don't have any traditional jodhpur/Rajasthani item ... mostly desserts and paneer/kofta,etc

Very welcoming staff but be patient with the older staff regarding english.

Was recommended by a local, and it was a good recommendation indeed. It is a tiny no nonsense place, with a rather limited menu. Each dish served in simple steel containers has unique taste. The "Gatte ki Sabzi" had a different taste from the similar looking "Gulab Jamun" subzi (yes, they have Gulab Jamun Sabhi).
Finished with Rabdi which should not be missed. Pls visit worth the investment.

You can’t take your car here,you have to walk a bit, auto rickshaw can take you there.
This is a 1975 place that loves desi ghee.
Lachha paratha was very good full of ghee.
Malai ki roti was one item of a kind and very tasty.
They have an item called kabuli that is similar to biriyani and i must tell you its the best, it was very tasty too.

Gulab jamun ki sabji and gatta madala was not tasty at all,
Dal was just fine.
But over all we had a unique experience.
You can also eat there lacha paratha just with lehsun ki chutney and then have malai ki roti which is a desert.

Tried malai roti which was the best over there very settled in taste not over powering any flavour... Also tried laccha partha and kofta gravy and dal tadka all made in pure ghee .. must try and also need a big big appetite to eat all.

I think no one can skip this place while in Jodhpur.. Must try their malai roti, haldi ka sabji and gulab jamun ki sabji. Great taste in budget.

Kabuli, I can not describe in word. However it is a Biryani with besan gatta, whole spices, dryfruits, fried onions and garlic.
Test is awesome. Must visit for Kabuli and malai roti and few more.

It is situated on the first floor. We had the gulab jamun ki sabji that this place is known for but found it to be average and very oily. The kabuli pulav was slightly tangy and not spicy.The malai rotiwas really good though but really heavy. They sell this by the grams, with a minimum of 200-250gms which can be had amongst 2-3 people easily

This restaurant is a must visit place if you are in Jodhpur and are looking for a great vegetarian food. They served really delicious food, real quick. Their complimentary garlic chutney is just out of this world. The breads are filled with ghee while malai roti is something which we got to taste here for the first time is a great desert option.

Menu is unique here.. Like Malai ki Roti.. Gulabjamun ki Sabji etc..

Pros: Authentic Food with good taste
Cons : lots of Ghee in Sabji.
