Kesar Heritage Restaurant Jodhpur

Guddu was a super host serving awesome, local fare for breakfast. He was spot on to suggest stuff that still lingers on.

It is pretty close to the Mehrangarth Fort.
After visiting the fort, I felt so hungry and look for an awesome food, that’s how I found this restaurant.

I had tried dinner and breakfast there.
The foods are good and the rooftop is spacious with very good view to the fort.

But this is not the best thing of this restaurant. The best thing is the boss😂he is soooooo nice, honest and helpful.

The entrance is a bit hidden and inside the alley, but you will see the sign on the wall to lead you go there, it’s still very easy to reach .

If you have time, it would be good to spend a few nights in Kesar and enjoy the vibe :)

Nice rooftop restaurant. We had dinner for 4 person with some drinks for less than 2000R and we all enjoyed our meal. We also came back in the morning for breakfast, you will find great European style breakfast.
Great view on both city and fort.

A wonderful choice for the local jodhpur cuisine. Taste was awesome and unforgettable dinning area is a roof top facing square view of old blue city and town. It's located at side street so it would be a bit slightly difficult but it is good worth follow the signs on the road.

We are in jodhpur since three days and we found best food at kesar such a yummy taste and it's freshness is just mouth watering.
About view it's amazing view of fort and blue City specially at night.

It is our favourite place to eat local cuisine and made it according to your taste. Wonderful view of the fort and blue town only a thing to know before going there is it is inside a street where you have to follow the sign at street. Once you are on the top it serve you best.

Absolutely delicious food. Stopped here after walking the narrow little streets taking photos.of blue hn ouses and was propable our best meal in the past 6 weeks in India

The waiter was super friendly and explained the food to us in perfect english. Weve been in India for one month now and he was the first to admit that even if he tries to not make it spicy it still will be a little for our taste. And yet it was the first indian food i could actually eat.

This restaurant was our absolute favorite in Jodhpur. The rooftop is beautiful, with a stunning view of the Fort and the city. The food is delicious, we had an eggplant dish and the palak tomato and garlic naan. You have to search a bit to find it, as its off one of the main streets, but its well worth it. Highly recommended.

Best part of kesar is it's food so yummy 😋😋 and tasteful.
We recommend traditional cuisine as Gutta,papad just wonderful plus the view amazing.

Beautiful setting, friendly and helpful service, and delicious food! We were recommended to try the Rajasthani specials and they didn’t disappoint. All freshly cooked, piping hot and served under the incredible fort. Will return

Super tasty food over the roof top that looks almost all the blue city.
Staff and chef were very helpful to choose the local cuisine and we were thankful for their suggestions.
Gutta curry and kaju curry was the best highlight for us over this roof top restaurant. Highly recommended 👌 👍

Delicious food! We ordered the traditional Rajasthani dishes that we haven’t found anywhere else on the menu yet. On top of this, you get a beautiful rooftop view and great service!

Ate here twice, both times the food was good. The guy running the hotel is actually nice and has no ulterior motive (ie does not try to sell you anything). Recommended
