Good place to visit. Entry ticket is there. One could see the beautiful view of this market from the terrace of clock tower. Also good view of Mehrangarh fort from here. Recently, it is nice place for pre wedding photo shootouts and commercials. Remember to do shopping nearby from handicraft stores selling small souvenirs, key rings, magnets, etc

Beautiful place. Rs 25 ticket. But it is worth. You can go to the top. And the man behind the clock is available here till 8pm to show you the mechanism of this antique clock. He and his son are the only persons who know about this clock's mechanism. You'll be amused to see the clock from inside.
Other than that you can click some pictures on first floor.

Ghanta Ghar or the Clock Tower is a prominent landmark in Jodhpur; it was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh between 1880 and 1911. More of a landmark in the market by the same name, it is more of an architectural delight. Place becomes crowded during day, paradise for street shopping lovers. In morning you can take a walk to ghanta ghar.

Ghanta Ghar(Clock Tower) is very beautifully architect-ed with an amazing panoramic view of the nearby area. The ticket price is 25/- if you wish to climb up the clock tower. The climb to the top may be a challenge for some, as the stairs are steep and large. However, for those who prefer a more manageable experience, the stairs leading up to the viewing gallery are easily accessible.

The mechanical clock itself is fully functional, and the person responsible for its maintenance is enthusiastic about sharing its history and workings. The tower in the evening is very well-lit and looks more beautiful.

Since there is a main market around it parking can be challenging and be ready for walks if you wish to the nearby areas which include very famous sweet shops and eateries.

Clock Tower aka Ghanta Ghar (In Hindi Language)...

1) The tower was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh between 1880 and 1911.

2) It is the most happening place in the whole of Jodhpur city as it is also the center of attraction of the city.

3) This place is surrounded by a Market called Sardar Market which is filled with shops of Antiques, Handicrafts, Traditional Cloths, Spices, Bangles, Restaurants, Juice Shops, Cafe etc etc. This market is named after its builder Maharaja Sardar Singh Ji.

4) You can go inside the clock tower by purchasing a small ticket for ₹25 per person (Rupees Twenty Five per person) (USD $ 0.30 or 30 cents).

5) Do visit Mishrilal Lassi whenever you visit the clock tower. They serve the best Lassi (Sweet Yoghurt filled with one spoon butter and prepared with cardamom, saffron).

6) If you need any assistance or help, feel free to contact Rajasthan Tourism Police' Cabin located next to the clock tower itself.

7) Best time to visit - Early in the morning or during Sunset, for better view and comfort.

8) From the balcony of the clock tower, you can have an astonishing view of Mehrangarh Fort and the Market.

The Ghanta Ghar or the Clock Tower is one of the busiest places in old Jodhpur city. The shops around the tower are very old and they sell goods at wholesale rate. No doubt why the crowd flocked to this place. No matter if you're a tourist or a resident, this place is a shopper's Paradise. From garments to souvenir shopping or, Rajasthani bangles or, spices this place serves all purpose. You just need to find your chosen product and with a little bargain own the product. The Jodhpur fort is nearby and it's visible from the clock tower. Overall it's a crowded place. But a nice place for shopping.

The architecture is amazing, it's really windy there at night. Entry fees is only 25rs. I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you're visiting Nayi Sarak for shopping as it is very close to it and nearby.

Clock Tower (Ghanta Ghar) is located bang in the center of the city. You can buy tickets to get to the first floor which is not recommended until you are a severe photo-fanatic. It has several shops surrounding it and is a good place for some Street-food hunting and instagrammable shots.

Situated in the middle of clock tower market, it's a beautiful sight. You can go inside the tower too and see the functioning of the clock and take beautiful pictures of the fort and surrounding areas. There were few local artists also performing fock music in the premise. Ticket price is also cheap at Rs 30 per adult.

Amazing location in Jodhpur with a 369 degree view of the markets, fort etc The clock over here can only be operated by 2 persons due to its complexity.

Great place you can enter inside ghantaghar to enjoy the view and also you can watch the clock working from inside. Entry cost for indians is ₹25 per person.

Pretty & historic. Really pretty sight at any time of the day, but particularly so at nighttime with the lights coming on. Nice view of the Mehrangarh Fort from this location. Large number of small shops in the vicinity selling all kinds of traditional wares and crafts. Stay safe since the area's really crowded most of the time. The roads aren't paved ones, instead just stones are laid. So be careful while walking or riding a rented scooty.

Beautiful structure with a still working analogue clock inside. You can get a ticket for Rs.25 and enter inside the tower to see the working, also can click some selfies.
You will get a far view of the Mehrangarh fort from the top as well.
