Yelbong Homestay

This place is like heaven on earth. Nature can be seen at its prettiest form with vibrant trees and lots of butterflies.
Yelbong homestay is a decent place to stay over here. Food was delicious and rooms were good. Francis ji and his team is extremely cordial. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful.
The adventurous river canyon trek is the main attraction of the place. Difficulty level of the trek is moderate. Rainbow waterfall is quite a site.
On a negative note, the road to this place is not that good. Last 5kms is difficult to cross.
Overall, it's a great place to visit and recommended to everyone who loves nature and adventure.

Excellent place for one who love trekking and nature. River canyon and Rainbow waterfall trekking was indeed one of the most unique experience.I loved every bit of this trek and rappelling and the guides were also very co- operative. I am so recommending this to all of you.

Only canyon treak in west Bengal as well as India . It takes 3h from NJP and 2.30 from New Mal junction.
Very amazing place for adventure. One of the best place ever ❤. Goal chetris home stay treat us like e guests. People can enjoy camp Fire besides Rumti river as well as hill top. Every one can fishing 🎣 here.

Now we explain about our tour first day we treat 4 km to reach yealbong. Take a camp Fire on night. Next day morning at 7 am we will treak for river canyon with goal chetri and Suren sharma (a young champ) . We were freezed when we went through the water. We fill like a Bayer grills. Same day we take a lunch beside Rumti river hill top and go for Rambo water falls.

Now I'm lying comfortably on the bed thinking that it was a tough day but one of the best experiences of a life we have face lots of trouble to reach yelbong,. extremely bad road... but our organizer help us lots.. specially francis bhiyaa..

A paradise of Bengal .. good place and also good people

Yelbong is in my 💓, I thank to Francis Daaju, Subam and Suren, I was being a solo traveler travel this place as my first solo trip these people and this place give me the inspiration, what I have seen here learn from here always be in my heart till my last breath, I have found my inner Traveler, I have found my passion. Some honest suggestions to help people who want to travel it for the first time, there is no particular season, if you come here anytime you will get a new flavour each time, please keep yourself save from scamsters because there are only four homestays all are interconnected by Francis Bhaiya only, he is the only genuine guy in Yelbong,(who is the discoverer of the River Canyon too, please ask him to know the whole story, he is my adventure inspiration)

Wonderful experience.this is probably the only river canyon in India so deep and beautiful.greatly recommended for adventure lovers.homestays are beautiful and guides are the saviors of the trail.
