Govind Hotel

The hotel is conveniently located near the station and is less than 5 mins of walk. So if you are arriving or leaving very early or very late you wouldn't need to arrange for any transport since you can just walk down from/to the station. We arrived very early in the morning and the owner allowed us early check-in without any fuss at all. The room was large and clean and had a nice bathroom with hot water. Though it was quite cold outside the room itself was warm which was great for us. We had breakfast and dinner at their rooftop restaurant. Food was excellent and rather cheap. Being near the market area there are ample other food options also, with one eatery just opposite the hotel.

Govind Hotel is a good budget friendly family hotel which is being managed by caring owner and supportive staff members. This hotel is near to railway station with good roof top restaurant. Overall neat and clean decent rooms with variety of food in restaurant available at reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family members and would also like to visit again in future. 😊

This hotel is very close to Jodhpur Railway Station, just 5 minutes walk, but surrounding is not crowded. The owner of this hotel is a gentleman, very calm and helpful. The rooftop restaurant of this hotel serves fresh and delicious food. Good for family.

I stayed with my parents here in January 2024. It’s very clean. Owners r strict but for a reason so that’s manageable. Check out time is not negotiable but can drop your luggage for few hours if going out for city visit. Near to Jodhpur Railway station, many eateries near by, Janta Shop is very famous and it’s opposite side of road. Good view from terrace. This hotel has its own restaurant also and price is in budget.

My girlfriend and I checked into Govind. The host was nice and upgraded our room no charge. The kitchen stayed open past the ‘closing’ to make us some dinner.

Hot water worked, room was clean and bed was comfy!

Exceptional family hotel with very caring owner. Location is just 5min walking and a minute away in auto from Jodhpur Railway Station. Considering such prime location (having bank and ATM in ground & 1st floor) the tarrif of the rooms are very reasonable. 3 bed rooms are indeed real 2+1 big rooms, with no hidden cost and chit chat. Entire hotel is neat and clean and regularly maintained. You will get hot water twice a day in morning and evening for 2hours.
The Top floor veg restaurant is also a must try place. No need to look for any restaurant if you are staying in this hotel.
In one sentence it's a pocket friendly gem.

We a group of 7 ladies stayed at Hotel Govind on 21 November 2023. Behaviour of staff was very good. Though the hotel is in second floor, we didnt feel any type of discomfort. It is in the middle of the city and food they serve at roof top is excellent. Hospitality was awesome and they provided every information regarding the city and was very cooperative. I recommend this budget hotel to stay with friends and family.

It was an amazing experience staying at this beautiful hotel, location is very nearer to railway station its an ease for traveler's. The service is on point you can get what you need just after informing them, even the owner uncle given us eary check in which is really appreciable and the staff was very friendly even they helps us in finding transportation to explore city in reasonable prices.The rooms were beautifully decorated, well maintained, neat&clean and hygienic place.overall it was a great experience staying at govind hotel.🙌😇

Govind hotel is the hotel I would highly recommend if anyone is travelling to Jodhpur. There’s a plus point if you are travelling by train bcz the hotel is in walkable distance so you can catch your train without spending a penny on transport. N about the hotel it’s budget friendly and Cleanliness is so maintained here. The owner is very friendly and helpful too. N even you can have your food with Rooftop view, with taste of homely cooked food. The overall experience was awesome here.

The finest choice I made while visiting Jodhpur was to stay at the Govind hotel. The hotel features aesthetically pleasing rooftop restaurants with lovely decor, beautiful plants, and a view of the Mehrangarh Fort, all within walking distance of the railway station. Above all, the staff and owner uncle are extremely helpful, and the rooms are clean, neat and well-maintained. Its safe for single women traveler. I strongly suggest the Govind hotel for a comfortable stay in Jodhpur,

The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the Jodhpur railway station and is also very close to the main city market. The owner and staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating. The owner kindly allowed us to check in early and even upgraded our room when our originally assigned room was unavailable. He also offered us the same room later for a quick refresh at a minimal cost.
The hotel features a rooftop restaurant that serves delicious vegetarian food.

A great place to stay in the vicinity of Jodhpur Railway Station. Under the peepal tree of the main road from railway station, you can see a board marking "Govind Hotel". Climb up the stairs around 1.5 floor high is a beautiful paradise.

Room Booking : I called the number I got from Google Maps, answering the phone was owner Mr. Jaggi. He is a very knowledgeable person and speaks English very well. He explained me all the details of the room and even shared me a video of the room in whatsApp.

The highlight was I was going to check-in at 2AM in the morning and Mr. Jaggi had made all the arrangements ready for us to hit the bed immediately, right from having the reception manager awake and warmly receive us who had already kept the Fan and cooler ON in the room just what you need in the middle of the night. Usually in many places, we will keep banging the door for 10 mins just to face an angry receptionist who is of short temper due to sleep loss.

The Non-AC rooms are not the usual hot ones here, Mr. Jaggi and his concern over guests is a step higher. When I enquired for Non-AC room, he simply answered that the rooms were Air cooled because of the rising temperatures at Jodhpur. Well I have seen many hotels doing cost cutting in electricity and all those by having poor fans and lights, but here the room was having an excellent Fan added with a centralised Air Cooler.
Excellent Power backup.. Generators were turned on within 2 minutes once power went out and still coolers were running. I heard the rooftop restaurant was so nice, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to experience that. But the Chappatis that we got packed for travel was so soft and smooth even the next day. The bed, pillows were really fantastic. Had a wonderful sleep for the two nights.

Overall, the stay here at this hotel really gave a good feeling around our rather tiresome travel in scorching heat.

What stood out most was the attention to detail provided by the staff. Their personalized service and willingness to assist with any request made me feel truly valued as a guest

The central location of Hotel Govind Jodhpur was incredibly convenient, allowing easy access to the city's attractions and making my exploration of Jodhpur a delight

We stayed here for 2 days, and I must say the owner is a fantastic host with great care for his customers. Upon arriving, we were immediately offered a no cost upgrade and stayed in a very nice room with all of the facilities needed, even hot water! And upon leaving we didn’t even have to ask to leave our luggage there for the day, he saw our backpacks and offered immediately, also offering us to relax in the hotel while we wait for our night bus. It was our last stay after 6 months in India and this is some of the best hospitality we have experienced.

This hotel couldn't be at a better location for arrival and departure from Jodhpur by train. The real star feature of the place is the staff though who are charming, attentive, and thoughtful. 100% would book again in the future.
