Nidhivan, located in Vrindavan, India, is a mystical destination steeped in legend and lore. This sacred grove is believed to be the playground of Lord Krishna and his beloved Radha during ancient times. Visiting Nidhivan is like stepping into a realm where the veil between the earthly and the divine is at its thinnest.

The allure of Nidhivan lies in its enchanting beauty and the aura of mysticism that pervades every corner. The lush greenery, whispering trees, and serene atmosphere create a sense of tranquility that is both palpable and profound.

But it is the tales woven around Nidhivan that truly capture the imagination. Legend has it that the trees here come alive at night, engaging in divine pastimes with Lord Krishna and Radha. It is believed that anyone who witnesses these mystical events is either blessed with divine grace or cursed to silence.

Pilgrims and seekers flock to Nidhivan, seeking solace, enlightenment, and perhaps a glimpse of the divine. The experience of being in Nidhivan is surreal, evoking a sense of reverence and wonder that lingers long after one has left its hallowed grounds.

In essence, Nidhivan is not just a place; it's a portal to the divine, a sacred sanctuary where the soul finds solace and the heart finds peace amidst the eternal play of love and devotion.

Nestled amidst the ancient city of Vrindavan, Nidhivan stands as a testament to the enigmatic allure of spiritual mysticism. Venturing into its hallowed grounds, I embarked on a journey that transcended the realms of the ordinary, delving into the realm of the extraordinary.

The lush foliage and whispering trees cloak Nidhivan in an aura of secrecy, beckoning visitors to unravel its mysteries. As I wandered through its winding pathways, I was captivated by the palpable sense of reverence that permeated the air.

Legend has it that Nidhivan is the sacred playground of Lord Krishna himself, where he engages in nocturnal pastimes with his beloved consort, Radha, and her gopis. The belief in the divine presence is palpable, infusing every corner of Nidhivan with an ethereal energy that defies explanation.

One of the most intriguing facets of Nidhivan is the phenomenon of the 'Ras Leela' that purportedly takes place every night. It is said that the trees of Nidhivan transform into celestial maidens, dancing in ecstatic union with the divine. While I did not witness this spectacle firsthand, the whispers of locals and the mystique surrounding Nidhivan left an indelible impression on my soul.

Beyond its supernatural allure, Nidhivan offers a sanctuary for introspection and spiritual contemplation. The tranquil ambiance, punctuated by the melodious chirping of birds and the rustle of leaves, provides the perfect backdrop for meditation and inner reflection.

However, it is important to approach Nidhivan with the utmost reverence and respect for its sanctity. As a place of profound spiritual significance, it demands humility and an open heart to truly appreciate its essence.

In conclusion, my sojourn to Nidhivan was a journey into the depths of mysticism and devotion. Whether you're a devout pilgrim or a curious seeker of the unknown, Nidhivan promises an experience that transcends the boundaries of the mundane, inviting you to immerse yourself in the divine dance of life.

Radhe Radhe! This is a mystical place, it is belived that Lorrd Krishna still comes here and performs Raslila (Dance of love) every night. Nobody is allowed to go here during that time. They keep some sindoor, gullal and other things as offering to the Lord and in the morning it is spread all around. There are a lot of Tulsi (Holy Basil) plants all around in a unique entangled form which is one of its kind in the world. Visit the place leaving all your worries behind. Radhe Radhe! Dont take you car you will struggle with parking, cows and monkeys. Instead I would recommend to take an e-rickshaw to go here.

Nidhivan, is one of the sacred sites of Vrindavan, situated in the Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Nidhivan is considered one of the mysterious places of Vrindavan. It is a dense forest with lush green trees, primarily Tulasi . The forest has numerous Tulasi trees which are short in height, but are found in pairs and have entangled trunks. Devotees and local people still believe that Lord Krishna visits this place every night and performs Raas Leela with the Gopis and Radha Rani. Must visit this place

Lovely place this is. You will feel something while entering here. Big place it is. Beware of monkeys though the entire path is covered here. It is very near to yamuna river. But, try to come here in the morning, otherwise you have to face a horrific rush. Also, you can not enjoy the place because of rush. Legend has it that the trees in Nidhivan are not ordinary; they are Gopis (cowherd maidens) who come to life at night to engage in Ras Leela, a celestial dance with Lord Krishna.

After visiting Banke bihari temple, Nidhivan is a must. Do hire an e rickshaw, it will be very convenient & save you lot of time. You might have to pay higher fare to e rickshaw, as it's a tourist place and they do overcharge. It is believed that Krishn ji visit here every night and performs Rasleela. No one stays here after 2000 h, even the birds, monkeys leave the place. You will be surprised that trees have no Bird nests and are always 16108 in number, counting is done regularly. Do take a local guide/ pandit, it will facilitate your visit better.

Amazing place. The pathway has been partially uncovered and the monkeys are in a position to harras the devotees. Otherwise everything is fine. The trees are getting new lives to make the Nidgivan more greenish and beautiful.

This is the place where Krishna, Radha Rani & Gopikas do rasleela every day. Not only human, even monkeys and birds leave the Nidhivan at the time of evening. Localities(Braj Vasi) tells that in the evening they hear Krishna's flute and dance music. People who are living around Nidhivan close their windows with bricks or sheds.
Who ever tried to stay there at the night time, either died or came out handicapped, that's why Nidhivan is closed with barricades during the night.

Some more interesting thing are that the bark of the trees is hollow and the land is dry, but the tree remains loaded with green leaves throughout the year. All the trees are in a bending position towards the ground. Every plant on the premises is found in pairs signifying the pair of the cowherds and Lord Krishna.

Radhe Krishna 😍

It was in this Nidhivan that Shri Krishna and Radha Rani danced. And when you enter it, you have a different experience, your mind becomes very happy.

It is believed that every night, at Nidhivan, Krishna and Radha perform Raasleela.

All the trees in the vicinity are believed to turn into gopis.

Every evening after sundown, a bed is laid for Krishna and Radha, along with some food, water, ornaments, clothes and neem twigs. Every morning these things appear to have been used.

Nobody is allowed to stay in the premises after sundown and nobody is allowed to look at the meeting of Krishna and Radha. It is believed that whoever looks at the performance either dies, becomes insane or loses eyesight.

It is a nice place to visit. To know more about this place, you can hire a guide from there as per your pocket.

Also be careful of monkeys. Keep your belongings very carefully as they are very expert in snatching it from you.

This is the same place where Kanha ji and Radha ji had Raas Leela, that is why Nidhivan is also known as Raas Leela Sthali.
