It's a neat and clean forest Rest House located in Corbett Tiger Reserve. Excellent location. Just soak in the atmosphere during winters. A small canteen attached serves basic food items

Wonderful place to stay inside the Corbett Tiger Reserve, Jhirna zone. You can feel the nature. You have to pre-book this rest us, otherwise very difficult to get the booking. I have spent few time here during our morning safari. Washroom is there. You will get a very good shot of jungle from here.

Two rooms for tourist online booking. Well maintained, decently spacious, common area for both rooms. Clean bathrooms, hot water needs to be arranged from support staff.
Less crowded as there are only 2 rooms for guest and 2 rooms for forest officials. Feels like private property if you are group of two families. Electrified fences, courteous staff, and goes out of their way for helping guests. Certainly worth a visit.

Lovely place and environment but only for wildlife enthusiasts. Deer and other animals would come into the guest house compound in the night

Nice place to visit on your trip to the Corbett National Park. This is your only stop point while your visit where you can actually get down the jeep and stop by for some snacks.

The Tea and Maggie here is quite good,.maggies costing around ₹50/- and Tea ₹25/-
The place is also a rest house for Hunters and Shooters and has electrical wiring around the premises.

Got a chance to stay here, it was such a wonderful atmosphere in the midst of nature. Could here the calls of deer at night. There's a water hole right next to rest house, which serves as a point to quench thirst for various animals like leopards, tigers, elephants, deers, peacocks, langurs.
The rest house is electrically fenced for protection by wild animals.
It is not available for stay during the rainy season.

Its a very well maintained property in the midst of the forest. The roads towards the rest house is one awesome bummpy ride (only if you like off roading). The staff was polite and manage to cook whatever we took with us. The surrounding is thickly covered with dense forest which adds to to the rest house cool location. The nights are pretty dark so you shld not dare to venture out. Mornings stroll around the house is relaxing as you can watch and listen to variety of exotic birds on the near by trees.

This is also one of the major ranges of corbet, we were able to spot a tiger along with many other animals, if you are not able to get dhikala, I would suggest you to go for this range

Jhirna FRH is an awesome place and a heaven for wildlife and birding lovers. There are plenty of tigers and some elephants as well. In my recent visit I was able to saw almost 40+ great Indian hornbill. Infact Indian pitta were all around. I got some beautiful shots of Paradise Flycatcher

Only clean option inside Corbett park when going through Gate 2 for restrooms and relaxing.
It is recommended to go early in the morning to hear and see beautiful birds which come and visit this property.
The property is well maintained and a safe spot to get off your Safari Jeeps. The stopover along with drivers and guides is not long, hence would recommend to inform your Safari operators prior to starting your Safari incase you wish to spend time here in the middle of the jungle without long commitment of camping overnight.

This one is inside the forest with an old world charm. 2 private rooms for stay with upgraded worldclass washroom facilities and this whole unit runs on solar electricity. Amazing caretaker and cook. They prepare individual meals for each family and we were amazed by their dedication and care for each guest.
There is beautiful serene jungle all around with sambhar calls warning us about tiger in the vicinity. Deers roaming freely in the vicinity. They have electric fencing all around for safety for guests during the night and overall one of the best experiences.
Had an amazing exprience and will soon book another stay here

A building with old world charm. Basic but location is amazing inside the forest. One would fantasise to be here and live in it. Specially imagining the bygone era when there would have been no solar or electric fencing available. Tigers, elephants and beer calls must be heard all night from the bedrooms and occasional presence must have been getting felt across the door.

If you want five star jungle safari and want to stay in five star hospitality then this place is not for you.. it is without electricity , don't worry they have solar panels and inverter but it lasts for only few hours in winters.. food is bare minimum but good.. but this detachment from world is one of the reasons you go in Forests..

We booked jhirna as we missed booking in dhikala.so we were a bit sad .but jhirna is a awesome place with only 2 rooms for tourist and one vip room for forest officers.our guide mr.rawat helped us a lot but it was our bad luck that we could n' t see tigers but hear the loud roars which was very thrilling.only 2 hours current supply is there.at night we heard tiger roars very near to us .and also saw a lot of birds, elephant, deer, langoors.it was a very good experience. all the staff of jhirna frh are very courteous.
