In Himachal Pradesh Water just flowing through the Bridges and on the roads but people are not getting in their tabs cause of poor service.

Water supply & distribution system to Shimla is pathetic. Bureaucracy running everything from agriculture to atomic energy, fisheries to finance while knowing nothing about anything in most deptts. The IAS/ HAS is appointed head of an organization like Shimla jal prabandhan whereas it should be a thoroughly professional body headed by dedicated team of engineers, people of Calibre who can resolve Shimlas' water woes forever. Bureaucrats understand nothing regarding the actual issues and waste precious time. By the time he begins to understand, he moves out and the next one who comes in is equally clueless, directing professionals how to go about their job or creates red tape. Innumerable IAS headed the MC as commissioner and now heading SJPNLtd but nothing changed for Shimlas' water supply system. It was always struggling and is still struggling.

I have paid my bill for Rs 5554/- with latest reading upto 31-03-2019 in cash at the Counter opposite Auckland House School, Shimla on 21/12/2019.

The amount paid ie Rs 5554 has not been credited to my account and the same is Being carried forward in all the subsequent bills, till date.

I have physically walked several times to the cash counter opposite Auckland House School and
the Office At Chhota Shimla. Each time I have been assured that the entry will be made into my account but no action has been taken.

I wish to pay my outstanding bill asap, provided my account is rectified and a proper bill is issued to me after crediting the amount of Rs 5554.

The employees at the 2 offices are not doing the needful despite several requests

It is hard to believe that there is still a website in 2020 that is devoid of the option of online payment of bills. Very few customers receive hard copies of bills while the remaining citizens of town are either expected to be struck by some sort of magical revelation or have to rely on a chance conversation with a neighbour who happens to be one of those few lucky ones to receive a receipt of the bill. There is only one centre in the entire town for bill generation & only five for payment of the same. For people working out of town, good luck dealing with the mismanagement of this haphazardly created board.

Despite onnline deposit of SJPNL water bills in October,2021, arrears has been reflected in fresh water bills paid in november. Very negligent behaviour. Thrust upon the consumers to reach richmount jakhoo to get it corrected. Head office must extend the facility in such cases at their respective area office of JE level

First their site does not work properly, to deposit the water bill has became a herculean task. Most of the Senior Citizens suffering due to the non deposit of bill online . The online portal was having 2 gateways , one is hdfc and other is PNB . Hdfc gateway is hardly available as this does not charge anything. But PNB portal is charging Rs. 11/- + for deposit of online payment. Hopeless for last so many years . Hpsebl is also giving bill and never faced any problem for online payment.
