Jwala Devi Temple is a Shakti pith. You see natural flame around the temple.
It is believed that jwalamukhi Temple is place where the tongue of sati fell.
And Akbar offered a gold umbrella (chatra) for the Goddess.

Jwala Ji

Jai🌟🌼 maa jwala devi ki 🌼

Journey🌟 of this holy place is amazing
🌼 Atmosphere is so lovely and beautiful during this journey we visit many many temple " chintpurnti mata mandir ...

Jwalaji/jawalaji (flame) or Jwala Mukhi (flame mouth) is probably the most ancient temple discussed here besides Vaishno Devi. It is mentioned in the Mahabharata and other scriptures. There is a natural cave where eternal flames continue to burn. Some say there are nine flames for the nine Durgas ... Several schools of Buddhism also share the symbolism of a seven-forked sacred flame

It was such a peaceful experience. So many thoughts of life and suddenly everything settled. Roads are not good , you need a good driver. Jwala Devi temple visit is mesmerizing and beyond words. When I entered the temple , I felt I was complete and life was waiting for this day only. Everyone should visit once in their lifetime. My life is almost settled after visiting Jwala Devi temple. Although no magic happened in front of my eyes but my life has changed totally.

Temperature is bit cold better to take some winter clothes with you. But during day weather is pleasant.

Jawala Devi Temple is a unique and miraculous shrine of Goddess Jwala Ji, who manifests herself in the form of eternal flames. It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where the tongue of Goddess Sati fell. The temple is located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, on a hilltop surrounded by scenic beauty. The temple has no idol, but nine holy flames that burn continuously without any fuel. The flames represent the nine forms of Goddess Durga. Devotees offer Rabri to the Goddess and seek her blessings. The temple is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus, who believe that visiting the temple will end their troubles and bring happiness.

Waited there for 3 hours just to get inside the temple, because police security diverted the people to the 2nd gate because of this people were getting disturbed and some people were paying 500-1000 to the pandit and pandit were letting those people go inside.
Please take care of it

Jawalamukhi Devi Temple is famously known as Jwalaji,
It is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas of Hindu Goddess Mata Sati.
This temple is world famous for its Divya flames, the place where Mata Sati's tongue fell .
Jwalamukhi Temple is a two hour drive from Chintapurni Mata Temple.
Once you reach the parking
It is mere 10 min walk from the entrance of the temple.
Caution:
Long queue is there anytime of the year which may take 2-3 hours for darshan,
but if you hire a pandit for darshan then you can have your puja and darshan by half an hour.

Pandit will fast-track the process
There 9 Divya Jyoti in total representing Nav Durga

Within the premises, there is an adjoining temple which showcases the chattar that Akbar had offered to the goddess

This Temple is a scenic beauty. This view from the temple is enthralling. One of the most beautiful temple in Himachal Pradesh. The road that leads to this temple is also very beautiful. Fire is worshipped here. I wish India could respect its women the way it worships Devis(female goddesses). #templereview #empoweredwomen

One of the most sacred & powerful hindu temple, with lots of faith and divinity. It also has great significant stories to go with. The most significance is the never ending Jwala burning in 9 different places, with the source not known.A must visit. One of the most spread story of this temple involves Mugal Emperor Akbar, that once he offered mata with gold chattar . Maa Jwala got angry by his boasting nature and threw back the chattar, till date it is lying there turned black.

Jwala Devi is one of the major 'Shakti Peethas' of India. Jwala Devi Temple is located at a distance of 34 kms in south of Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. Even from Dharamshala, it lies at a stretch of 56 kms and moreover, it is easily accessible by the regular buses from both the places. For a convenient journey, one can opt for private taxis that are available throughout the state. The temple is dedicated to Jwala Devi (form of goddess), who is the presiding in the form of flames. Due to this fact, the goddess is also referred as the 'Flaming Goddess'.

Positioned besides a cliff, Jwalamukhi Mandir is built on a wooden platform in the Indo-Sikh style of architecture. The structural design of the temple is simple, but the religious aura makes it undoubtedly divine. The dome and spire of this temple are covered with Gold. The main door of the shrine is plated with silver. In front of the main shrine, there is a huge brass bell that was presented by the King of Nepal.

Being an important pilgrimage of the Hindus, devotees come to this temple in large numbers. During the days of Navaratri, the temple is thronged by countless number of devotees. Colorful fairs are also organized for the period of Navaratri in March-April and Sep-October. Earlier, this temple was administered by the descendants of Raja. After Independence, this temple was declared as the site of Cultural Heritage and that time onwards, it is under the management of the Government. There are not less than 102 priests to look after the sermons of the temple and even these priests are paid by the Government.
