I am more than sixty years old now.
Around forty years ago we used to play cricket there under the banner of Dhariwal cricket club. The club used to have more than 25 members and every day a new cricket ball was added with the old two or three balls. Some regular members were Dr.Hamilton lyall, Dr, Goyal, Satish Duggal (minta) Khanna, Gorkha Bhim singh ( my guru for wicket keeping), Pradhan, Rakesh, Surinder singh( tikki) Jagjit singh ( laali), Vinay ( used to entertain us by his comedy) Underwood, Hira lal, Joshi, Lala, lovely, Bobby, pawan, late dear pinki, Rajesh, Ghaavri, and the young kids Dogra ( now a colonel) Randeep (now in USA) Salil ( was heading Dish tv india). For nearly ten years Dhariwal mill ground nourished all of us physically, mentally and emotionally. Mr. Bettenett a resident of Scotland and administrator of Mission hospital also used to play with us. All these members used to keep the ground neat and clean. We have sweet memories of that period but feel sad when we see that the ground is no longer that neat and clean. We wish that present generation also keep it cleaner and well maintained.

Best playground in Dhariwal city... It is so large that locals use it for Various purposes at same time... Some plays cricket, some plays cards, someone is running across the track to prepare for indian army physical test.. people often use this playground to learn to drive two wheelers as well as four wheelers .. even some small functions are arranged here..

One of the best place to play for youngster . With the help of this ground, we are celebrating Dushera as well.
