The park provides a breathtaking view of the Osman Sagar and the experience is serene and refreshing.

I saw some reviews stating that the park authorities only accept cash. However, they’re accepting online payments too by scanning a QR code which redirects to official page of Government website. Each adult costs 59 rupees.

Parking is free. There is plenty of parking for two wheeler and bikes.

The park also has washroom and great view points facing the lake.

Best time to visit in the evening after 4 pm. Best place to spend time with childrens they will love it so much.
Park is very well maintained. Very good plants and very nice place to visit with Family, especially with Kids. Kids will definitely enjoy at this place.
Evening's especially during Sun set it will be an amazing view & place to enjoy. Very rarely we will see the sunset like this in Hyderabad. Great place & I will recommend to visit this place once with family & kids.

Very good to spend time there with family. Especially kids if they know skating, wave board, etc really they can utilise the space provided. Evening sunset view is awesome. But all the weekends nowadays used to be very crowded. If you are planning to visit, please plan to be inside before 4'o clock. Because nowadays for the entry n vehicle parking we have to be in the big queue. Otherwise somewhere nearby you should park the vehicle and enter by walking. Well maintained. Food also allowed. But people are making the surroundings dirty after eating food. It's opened till evening 7:30pm. Well maintained garden n greenery.

Nice place to spent Evening. View of lake is good. DSLR photography not allowed but mobile camera can also do magic here. All photos automatically get awesome because of the surroundings and evening lights.

A great place to spend evening with frds n family. Well maintained park , near to the lake. You get nice sunset view in the evening overlooking Gandipet lake.

Beautiful place with lots of trees, breathable air and last but not the least astonishing sunset.... Must visit place for a family.... Pack your lunch boxes and join all the family members ,take all outdoor toys like badminton, football,skates, volleyball ... Take some bedsheets and a water bottle and you are good to go.....

It's a nice picnic spot, pretty close to Hitec, Jubilee Hills etc.
Entry is open Between 9 am to 6 PM
Lovely view of water, and old trees along with beautiful flowers and greenary. Fresh air pollution free atmosphere, Good Washrooms, It was wonderful experience being there.
Evening time is more enjoyable.

We were planning a picnic for our group of 10 kids and adults not far from the city and found this on top of the search results. We were not disappointed a bit or inch because this place is soo good as a picnic spot with neat and clean atmosphere, restrooms, we can freely sit in the park, under the tree and kids have open area to play with toys. Well maintained and it has variety of plants and full of imli trees

A very nice and peaceful place to visit.
As Gandipet Park/ Osman Sagar Reservoir is mainly for fresh water, it doesn't even smell.

🔴 Note: There's no canteen inside the park and you won't be able to find drinking water too. But you have a facility to go outside the park, buy whatever you want, show the entry ticket you bought earlier and come side the park again 🔴

🐾 Banyan Tree: Located at the centre of the park, it is said that a huge well-liked structure was dug to insert the tree due to its very long roots. It is also called the One Lakh Tree.
🐾 Open Auditorium: This structure is situated at the right-most corner of the park, beside the lake.

Beautiful park pleasant breeze and breath taking views of the lake. The renovation of this park is mindblowing. On weekends it a bit crowded but on weekdays its better. I would definitely recommend this place.

Peaceful in the early hours 6-8 mostly.
Could see the aftermath of Kite festival quite evident everywhere on the trees. Zero bigger birds like commoners, wablers or cranes sighted. There were bee eaters, robins and small ones closer to the ground level.
Stray dogs were around, quiet and docile. There are no food establishments at the park so they looked on the leaner built side. Not sure about their feeding situation.
Flora and fauna are decent, could spot a lot of weddings and other photo shoots as the park is clean and aesthetically pleasing.

Hope to see this well maintained recreational park stay in its prime for longer and urge visitors to maintain its dignity for all of us.

An exquisite gem in Hyderabad, where nature’s beauty and human designs seamlessly combine. Winding Pathways, Greenery, Blooming flowers and a serene lake.. a place to have fun and peace. I had a good time with my close ones.

Suggestion : visit on weekdays if you want to experience the best of this park.

Good place for fresh air and relaxing yourself and for walking as well. Plenty of area for children to hangout. Timings 6 am to 7.45pm. You need to buy entry tickets for everyone 30 for adults and 15 for children. Plenty of car parking area available. Well lit in the night. Best time to visit would be the dawn where you can enjoy the sun over Gandipet lake.

This lake has a very good scenic beauty, This lake is now one of the main sources of drinking water for both Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Winter is the best time to visit this lake. You also have the option of conducting picnics as well.
