One of the best pure vegetarian hotel in Palakkad. Unniyappam made with ghee was delicious. The Bonda you get there is special. Not as spicy as it gets in other hotels. It had the aroma and taste of Uzhunnuvada with coconut husks. Even if the price is a little higher, it is something that is not available anywhere else. Definitely will buy again once eaten.

One of the best veg hotels in Palakkad. I had poori and coffee. It was the most tasty one in palakkad. Economical cost. Lesser than highway hotels. Car parking is a little difficult.

Beautiful and tasty vegetarian restaurant at Palakkad. Special meals worth RS.100 is really worthy. Each Curry is prepared to exibit it's natural taste and the payasam was superb. On the day of my visit the rice was over cooked which alone holds the lunch back from getting a six star. Serving quality and quantity is superb. A special mention to the spectacled supplier of tiffin section for recommending me to take a lunch sadya .

One the best vegetarian food in palakkad. Though it is near the palakkad railway station, the Google map can confuse your route to the restaurant (Better to ask the locals). The restaurant was neat and food as amazing. Awesome veg varieties could soothe your tastebuds and fill your tummy. They have pure ghee made sweets and palada too.

Everything is as old but renewation happened to restaurant. Similar to vegetarian food. Lunch is good. I prefer as tea shop.

If you're in Kerala and want to try authentic Tamil Brahmin cuisine, this is the place to go. Sevai, kozhakotai, ella adai... You name it they have it. And the prices are very very reasonable.
And the collection of sweets - wheat halwa, jhangri (south India jalebi), rava Ladoo, Mysore Pak, appam - excellently made with pure ghee.
If you feel palakkad is too far for you, this place is hardly 2 km from the kochi Salem Highway (from palakad bypass flyover). Drop in during a road trip and enjoy
I also had the good fortune of meeting the proprietor, a very down to earth person who sits at the billing table.

Food, be it tiffin or meals, it has a unique taste and is maintained all along. Sweets are very tasty and mostly made of ghee. Take away services are also available, with seperate counter.

Restaurant is located in a very ideal location. However parking 4 wheelers is not possible in the busy road outside nor inside the restaurant. Thats the only disadvantage.

Very good place for exploring the authentic taste of Palakkad. My taste buds were excited by Seva, ghee roast and ada. Among these three ada was my favourite. You have to be lucky enough to taste Ada in Harihara puthra. Because it is really in demand. It is a heaven for veg lovers( i m a non veg lover)

HariHaraPutra is a decent pure veg hotel located a bit inside of the city. You get pure Tamil food here. This place is pocket friendly. Sweets are also a hit and are all made of ghee and delicious. They have snacks too. You get all South Indian dishes here, you name and they have it. The dosa’s are amazing and they have different types of dosa’s like onion dosa, rava dosa, masala dosa etc. The meals are too good and severed in a traditional way. Always too crowded, yet worth the wait. I love this place and make sure to peek in each time in the area, at least for a filter coffee. The filter coffee is great too. They have ample parking but is can be full at times! Staff are also quite friendly.
