Welgate Organic

I come here for all my grocery needs in Kottayam. They have certified organic tea which is what brought me back every time, a world of difference from the generic tea brands you get in the stores. It is a pity we Indians are known for our great tea but rarely get to drink it ourselves.

Slowly,I started dabbling in their vegetables, milk and dairy products, even soaps, and toothpaste. They have very unique brands they carry here and though I can't vouch for everything being strictly organic, most of it is certified by some governing body.

My confidence in them was justified when I found the cleaning brand Strategi in their stores, which I was previously buying from Amazon . I only use Strategi for bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning etc and I absolutely love. It feels less toxic and gets a great response from visiting guests from around the world.
